  We didn’t actually stay at the Holiday Inn this year because their pool was under construction, but when we arrived and found out the pool wasn’t available, the front desk staff, Kamal, was so incredible to help us with a refund, even though it took several calls with our third party booking. Kamal was so patient, calm, and helpful as we tried to navigate the last minute change. Thank you!

  Kamal is a wonder full Receptionist. Helpful and responds to requests quickly. Always kind friendly service. Great Hotel & great breakfast!

  We spent one night at this hotel and I am disappointed that I had to block my credit card because the receptionist who checked us in, a girl from India, took my credit card, turned it over and looked at all the information, which I found strange, but we didn't pay attention to it. After that, today we received transactions with money debited from Pizza Pizza and an online ski equipment store, purchases made on February 1 in Quebec, although I have been in Toronto since January 31. I am very disappointed and want to warn people about this. My card is now blocked. As a hotel employee, I know that it is forbidden to take other people's credit cards.🤷🏻‍♀️ I am waiting for my deposit to be refunded to another new card when I receive it. This has been the worst experience🤦🏻‍♀️

  Hotel is worn down. They are in the middle of Reno’s but they have a long way to go. Carpets in elevator atrocious and rooms worn. The black out curtains in my room are gone, just an empty track. TV’s are tiny and don’t even have HD capabilities, which I didn’t even think was possible in this day and age. The worst part about this hotel though, is the service. Or lack there of to put it more appropriately. Booked a two queen room and even called to confirm before my stay to confirm queens. When I arrived I was put in a king and told too bad, they can change as they see fit. Even though I was assured two queens on the phone. Called down at 7pm for sheets for the pull out and was told to come get them myself as they send all their staff home at 6pm. Not sure if they are too cheap to pay the appropriate amount of staff or what, but I’ve never been told to get my own sheets before. When they finally agreed to bring them up they brought two fitted sheets and that was it. Also called down the next night for some utensils and again was told to come get them myself. Won’t be back here again.

  We had a genuinely comfortable stay here during a transition period for our family. Thank you to Donna and Najmo for their warmth and attentiveness, to Patricia and Gaurav at the front desk for being accommodating and helpful, to Kaelan for being responsive and working with us on our stay, and to Barbara, the GM, whose hands-on presence really shows. It truly felt like home during a busy season for us, and we’re happy to be coming back for another week.
