Rooms are kind of basic and run down. The toilets are extremely loud and disruptive between rooms. The shower makes loud rattling and banging sounds. The carpet needs to be desperately redone atleast in south tower. The carpet in my room has big folded crease and questionable stains. Rooms half assed cleaned. Phone was filthy. Conditioner was empty. The pool - they have swim instructors rent out the pool from the community and it's full of kids learning to swim. Couldnt enjoy it, and it wasn't the cleanest.

It was a nice comfortable room but the hotel was a let down for us. First we needed to wait for 15 minutes for a check in with a small child in our arms at night, because there was only one receptionist who was also working as a cashier to a shop in the hotel and just prioritised the people leaving the shop instead of the coming guests. The thought of combining a receptionist and a cashier being a good idea is beyond me. The swimming pool was another let down. We booked it for the slide but in the pool we learnt our almost 5 years old daughter is too small for the slide. We offered we could slide with her, but it was also not allowed. We complained and literally nothing was suggested as a solution. Not even an apology. The posters for the slides are very misleading and when booking there was no information clearly visible that there are such restrictions for the slide, that is so eagerly advertised. All in all, this was the worst stay we have had for a while due to the incredibly poor service. Parking is a joke. Paying a lot for the hotel should include parking too. Overall not worth the price. I can also see the hotel doesn't really reply to bad reviews - tells you all you need to know. Zero self reflection. Not solution oriented at all.

DO NOT stay at the Hilton. Our car got stolen last night. Even though there were cameras, there’s no security and safety. The hotel staff told us the safest place to park and our Lexus was still stolen. Do not stay there. Do not park new Lexus there.

From the bar tender Joe to the greeter dog on the door I can not recommend The Hilton Medowvale enough, after coming here multiple times for work it's like being greeted by friends, the service is exceptional and the staff friendly and warming. Needless to say I will be coming again in future.
