Highly recommend this hotel! We needed a last minute stay and we were super fortunate to have found this place. We booked connecting rooms with twin queen beds. This is the best hotel we’ve been to in Mississauga. Everything is clean and well presented. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also loved their pool (that is nice and warm) and their workout equipment. This had everything we ever wanted!

Hello Hilton Garden Inn Administration, your hotel was clean and it didn’t appear to be a 3 start but 4, as the interior design/layout was quite modern, classy and the service was impeccable! I would like to highlight Shahvir,, Jean and Nevelyn were the stars during my stay there. They offered outstanding service and ensured that my clients were well taken care of! Please keep those people as it’s hard to find people who can make a client feel really appreciated! Also, they exhibited positive attitude and professionalism!

This review is based on my personal experience at this hotel. While others may have had a great stay, mine was unfortunately not pleasant. Although the stay itself was fine, the hotel staff charged my card $282 for a smoking fee without my consent. My party and I are non-smokers for religious reasons. Simply having access to a guest’s credit card does not justify charging it without prior communication or proper verification. From both a business and moral standpoint, the ethical approach would have been to contact us first to inquire about the matter before applying such a charge. When I called the hotel, the manager, Irene, stated that hotel policy allows them to charge guests if they have a reason to believe smoking occurred. However, this “reason” was not properly investigated. When I asked about the investigation, she stated that the charge was based solely on the cleaning staff saying the room smelled like smoke. She also mentioned that the room was taken out of service due to this alleged smell. There was no smoke in the air, no vapes, no cigarette or marijuana residue, and no physical evidence of smoking whatsoever. Charging a guest hundreds of dollars based on a subjective claim, without proof or communication, is unacceptable. Maybe the cleaning staff needs to be investigated as well because what if they smoked inside the room? Just like we cannot prove they smelled smoke in the air, they cannot prove that we actually smoked. After disputing the charge, I was eventually issued a refund. However, this policy is deeply concerning and should be reviewed immediately, as I am certain this has likely affected other guests as well. This experience was very unprofessional and disappointing, especially as I have been a loyal Hilton customer for some time. Even budget motels handle situations like this more appropriately, which makes this experience embarrassing for a brand like Hilton.

Room was clean and amenities were adequate. However, Hilton seems to have forgotten what a basic human needs to spend a night. Drinking water is one of those things and they decided to remove the concept of complimentary water and start charging for. Oh! Wait. It’s free if you are at certain level of their reward program. I understand brands tend to offer perks for loyalty, but when you start playing with necessities, that turns out to be disgraceful. So there is no incentive for you to choose Hilton as a first timer. I have no complaints about the hotel, but this marketing strategy is insulting. I don’t mind paying for it, but at the end of the day, the question is all about what’s fair. I would go back to IHG or Marriott. Atleast they don’t mess with basic necessities. Moral of their branding- They don’t wanna ‘Thank’ you unless you are Diamond,Gold or Silver. They should rethink their strategy.
