Overall, my stay was decent but I was disappointed during my stay at the Hampton Mississauga West location. There were a couple issues with my room, and the management response was less than ideal. The issues weren't major, but disappointing, first being that the sink would not drain properly. Took over two minutes for half the sink basin to drain. Then, the mini fridge froze and ruined my drinks, which I discovered in the morning. Upon mentioning these issues to the front desk upon checkout, I was advised to have called earlier for a room change about issues discovered the morning of checkout. They promised that someone from management would reach out the following business day as it was a weekend. A week later, nobody has reached out. I also filled in the after-stay survey requesting to be contacted, but nobody reached out.
Overall, the hotel is reasonably good, it lacks some of the newer Hilton features like Smart TVs, the staff were nice, but it seems maintenance and management need to up their game.

Shameeza was a fantastic member of staff, making the hotel feel like home. Great overall stay, nothing to complain about, shoutout to Yash as well!

The afternoon desk person was an absolute horrible person. Will never stay here again and im waiting on a full refund after that terrible experience. Your system was down, i was let into my room and told id be called when it was up for a room key, i declined the key because i was going directly to sleep and would be leaving first thing for work in the morning. While i was sleeping, your desk person called me to verify my card. Woke me. I confirmed and told him do not wake me again. He then calls me back. I left the phone off the hook... i need sleep leave me alone. He then proceeds to start banging on my room door incessantly. So while medicated trying to sleep and groggy i had to get up and potentially risk tripping for your man to sit there and accuse me of not having money on my card, threaten to call the police and then left and proceeded to charge my card. All transactiins went through with no issues which i checked on my banking app. It was completely unneccessary, your desk person needs to be fired. The level of incompetance and rudeness. As is the micro charges i keep seeing. .52 cents for no reason. .4 cents today after i checked out at 1137am for no reason. You should be ashamed at your service. Not only that but him waking me also triggered my ptsd from my accident causing me a full blown panic attack and reliving my crash. Absolutely horrible

Stayed here for 3 weeks while family member was in hospital.
I have to say the staff is outstanding. Every person goes out of their way to help.
Special shout out to Shameza in the food area and Dee at the front desk.
Shameza kept the breakfast full and hot and made sure we had a piece of fruit when we were leaving for the hospital.
Dee accomodated our many reservation changes due to our situation with a smile
Both showed us concern and compassion during our stay.
I would recommend this hotel highly if only for the staff.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and usually had a very good experience, which is why this situation was especially disappointing.
During my recent stay, at check-in the receptionist’s attitude toward me felt strange, biased, and somewhat rude from the very beginning. I was assigned a room on the first floor, right next to the main entrance, where people were constantly walking back and forth.
The room was extremely noisy, and it was almost impossible to sleep. On top of that, the room itself was in poor condition and clearly not comparable to the rooms I had stayed in previously at this hotel.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I booked and paid for the same double-bed room as always, at the same price. In all my previous stays, I was given clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms on the second or third floor. This time, despite no apparent reason and with other rooms seemingly available, I was placed in a low-quality, high-traffic room on the first floor.
Only after spending time in the room and being unable to rest did I fully understand why the receptionist’s behavior felt so unfriendly from the start.
Unfortunately, this experience significantly lowered my impression of the hotel. I hope management pays closer attention to room allocation and staff professionalism in the future.
