Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and flexibility at this hotel. I mistakenly booked a same-day reservation through Expedia on December 23 at 13:59 when I intended to book for mid-January. I realized the error immediately and contacted Expedia within 19 minutes, well before the 3:00 PM check-in time. Expedia contacted the hotel promptly, and I also called the hotel myself. The front desk acknowledged the situation and confirmed they were aware, stating the manager would follow up. Despite being notified almost immediately after booking and before check-in, the manager later refused to issue a refund and placed the blame entirely on Expedia. This is misleading. After further discussion with Expedia agents, it was made clear that this decision ultimately came down to hotel policy, not Expedia. What makes this worse is the dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I was told, “we get a thousand of these mistakes every month,” as if that justifies refusing to help a guest who acted quickly and honestly. This was not a last-minute cancellation days later, it was a genuine error reported within minutes, and the room would have gone unoccupied anyway. No effort was made to accommodate, rebook, or offer any goodwill solution, even though I still needed a stay for January. This experience felt less like policy enforcement and more like taking advantage of a technical mistake. Customer service should be a priority in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects fairness, professionalism, or understanding when issues arise.

Stayed over for a work Christmas party in the adjoining RBC place. Great service and convenient valet parking. Too bad they got rid of the parking garage next door! The only complaint would be the in room coffee machine. Nowadays you should atleast provide a keurig with pods ;)

For a Hilton, the rooms are very old and need renovations. I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times within the last 5 years and it feels like within the last 2 years it’s become more run down. For example in the photos I attached you can see the faucets have holes in them and are worn down. There’s a random hole in the bathroom vanity. The beds are comfy but old. Not a Hilton standard. Other than that the staff are kind and location is good. There is also no self parking- only valet.
