  My family and I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Leamington Hotel and Conference Centre for nearly 30 years, so writing this is disappointing. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. The room I had reserved and paid for in advance was not the room we were given upon arrival. The room provided had one less bed than needed, which resulted in us having to use two roll-away beds, something we were not expecting or planning for. On top of that, the room was not ready at check-in and we had to wait an additional 10 minutes past the scheduled check-in time, which was inconvenient, especially while traveling with family. What was most upsetting, however, was the interaction I had at the front desk during check-out. I was spoken to rudely and unprofessionally by a staff member named Kaylee. The tone and manner in which I was addressed were unnecessary and left me feeling disrespected. This interaction alone significantly affected my overall experience. Over the years, this hotel has been a familiar and trusted place for my family, but it does feel like it has become more run-down and that customer service standards are slipping. I truly hope management takes feedback like this seriously and works to improve both the condition of the hotel and staff interactions with guests. I would like to see this location do better in the future, as it has meant a lot to my family for many years.

  I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels over the years and don’t usually complain, but this place was disappointing. The building feels old and has a damp, moldy smell, and the room was hard to breathe in. I had to switch rooms because the air conditioner didn’t work. The second room had working AC, but it was very loud and kept me up at night. For what they charge, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The was breakfast NOT free, the service was friendly, though it was far too expensive for what was offered.

  Dirty, Rooms smelt like mold, Pool was freezing, pool area was cold and had weird fog all around it. Pool deck is uneven and “under constriction” Parents were wearing their coats watching their kids swim. I don’t even know how people were in the pool, you couldn’t see the bottom and it was just bad. so gross.

  What's not to love? Hotel is casual and relaxed. Anything we went to front desk to ask for was granted! Room change, reprogramming room cards we wiped by keeping next to our phones, a mango that needed cutting, a bandage for a good rug-burned knee. A tad disappointed that we didn't know there was a height restriction for kids being too tall for the slides!, but they found lots ofbother things to do. Arcade machines, mostly don't work. As long as you know, you can prep the kids. Family friendly! They seemed to be upgrading the TV's while we were there. Maybe new ones, you can cast onto from your phone so kids can watch their shows. Beyond that, the real reason you do this adventure is to interact with your family and friends. Will 100% book this again!

  The front desk was completely unhelpful. Calls to the front desk often went unanswered, and when assistance was needed, staff were unwilling to help. The hotel was extremely noisy throughout the night, with people yelling and children banging on doors until very late. There were also intoxicated individuals sleeping in common areas and shouting, making it nearly impossible to rest. The pool area was unsafe and unacceptable. It appeared to be under construction, yet remained open to guests. The room was freezing, with construction debris scattered around. Floors were uneven, railings were loose, and exposed wires were hanging from the ceiling. There was heavy fog or steam in the room, and visibility was so poor you couldn’t see more than 10 feet ahead, suggesting a ventilation failure. Even the lifeguards were wearing sweaters, hoodies, and toques due to the cold and were openly complaining about poor visibility and their inability to properly see swimmers. This is a serious safety concern. To make matters worse, mold was found in the breakfast food, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious health concerns. Overall, the stay was terrible, unsafe, and unhygienic. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
