Will never come here again. What a disappointment. Why would I pay again to come to a place where my kids can play on a court and have some fun for it to be allowed to be monopolized by one group screaming and playing aggressive volleyball with the ball flying around hitting everyone for HOURS and refusing to get off and let our kids play...no supervision. No regulations and I guess no courtesy.

Rooms are definitely old and outdated— could use some work. Sadly pool was closed and my kids were upset. Teams in the hotel were very loud and making noise early in the morning. I woke up exhausted. The breakfast isn’t complementary and costed $70+ for me, my husband, and our kids. unfortunately, drinks aren’t included with the buffet as well. Super disappointing. Breakfast service was great, food was hot, and our server was friendly, kind, and accommodating, just super pricey.

The best thing that could happen to this place is for someone to buy it and fulfill it's potential. The pool was closed during my stay, and the entire pool area was in poor condition. The play area for kids is a nice touch, but charging extra for games and then extra for breakfast was insult upon injury considering the nightly rate. The bloodstain on the bathroom door frame and the unsafe, unsecured, broken rears doors which were easily pulled open with a strong gust of wind added to the overall run-down feel of the place. Even the $20 per adult breakfast buffet (plus more for each kid) couldn't provide a working toaster. The young lady at the front desk was kind and professional, which I imagine is difficult when dealing with dissappointed and unsatisfied customers. Unfortunately, this is not a place that I would consider returning to.

Pelee Bistro Review:
Since I can't review the restaurant separately I'm doing it through the hotel website.
We came from Windsor for the Breakfast Buffet while in town, we showed up at 9am and the selection was not as advertised. There was supposed to be oatmeal and tots and a selection of fruit which we did not see. The food was luke warm at best and mediocre quality. Definitely not worth the $20 per person to eat, I would have maybe paid $12-$14.99 per adult for the food. The coffee we were served was also luke warm, the coffee from the hotel dispensers was hotter .
Highly unlikely we will come back here for the buffet, we might stay here one night with the grandkids to show them where we stayed 25 years ago.

Family-friendly stay, kids had a great time
We stayed at Best Western Leamington as a family and overall had a positive experience, especially for traveling with kids.
The biggest highlight is how kid-friendly this place is. There’s a warm indoor pool, arcade, basketball area, and a playground with rock climbing, which kept our kids entertained the whole time. We even saw several families hosting birthday parties here, bringing their own food and decorations — it felt very lively and welcoming for families.
The hotel is also a convenient 2.5-hour drive from Toronto, making it a great option for a quick weekend getaway.
That said, an honest note: the room was a bit small and felt somewhat outdated, and we did wish the common areas were cleaned more frequently, especially considering how many children use the facilities.
Overall, the kids loved it, and for a short family trip where fun matters most, this hotel is worth considering.
