- LWLucky WillemJan 2, 20261.0AVOID THIS PLACE. The Night Manager (Davis) is dangerous and inhumane. On Jan 2nd at 4:20 AM, I stopped by during transit. I agreed to leave but asked for a few minutes to book an Uber because it was -20°C outside. His response? "Leave NOW or I call the police." He threatened to arrest a compliant traveler just for checking their phone for safety. He forced me out into the freezing cold (was wind chill of -20°C) immediately. If you care about safety or basic human decency, stay away. This staff member is a liability.
- JCJack CDec 19, 20255.0Overall we were surprised at just how great our stay here was. Dan at the front desk was an absolute delight, always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and staff working it were also awesome. Gym was very clean with decent equipment. The room was also very clean with a very spacious, updated bathroom. We requested an extra blanket and pillow in the evening that arrived within minutes. Location was also great. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Kitchener!
- RARicky AdstienDec 6, 20251.0I was here 2 weeks ago and obtained Diamond Status during that stay. Now that I have returned, the hotel itself thanked me for being a Gold Member. Gold? Really? Yet my online profile shows me as Diamond. The managers micromanage their employees. When you check in, you are already “pre-assigned” a room, but there is no welcome package in the room addressed to you. So, why can’t the person check me in assign me my room as I arrive? My room for just me has two beds. So hopefully they don’t have a family trying to do a last minute check in and only rooms with one bed are available.

The staff has been very helpful, freindly and accommodating (we came in on a red eye flight and they allowed us to check in early which was not necessary but definitely appreciated). The rooms are modern yet cozy and the beds are as usual top quality! They are also extremely clean!! The breakfast is also top notch, great variety of hot and cold items, self serve waffle station and the pastries mmm the pastries. Overall we are very happy with this stay and look forward to returning in a couple days when we return from Niagra Falls.
- PLPierre LevesqueNov 12, 20251.0We stayed at this IHG resort as we are members and enjoy this hotel chain. However this hotel was a let down and not up to the IHG standards that we are used to. The first was the tv in our room didn't work. The front staff said we are having some glitches but no one on staff to fix it. The second was the noise between the room we heard the people next door cough and go to the bathroom all night. Couldn't get the thermostat to work properly always too hot and couldn't cool it door. The breakfast was terrible cold eggs, no bacon just turkey sausages, and not enough other choices. A real let down.
