I had my wedding in the grand ballroom. Ishita helped me every step of the way including staying within my budget and ideas of how to make it affordable yet elegant. She is wonderful to work with and makes time to meet with you to dissect your vision to make it come to life.
The rooms were clean and ready. Decorated beautifully for wedding day! Any requests
(Extra chairs, tables, etc…) were made always with a friendly staff.
Location is busy and at the time there was construction in the parking area making it inconvenient for guests to park further away but we managed and everyone got to our event. Guests had to pay for their own parking spot and perhaps this is the only thing I would recommend they change for events or construction times.
The catering service and food was my absolute favorite! I didn’t have a tasting night but they already had great reviews. Almost every guest complimented the food!
The manager was also super friendly and helpful even when we had to turn down the music, he was very professional about it all.
I highly recommend this place if you’re interested in holding an event (big or small) they have options.

We arrived a day late for a convention on my error of booking and was billed for a no show which is fine but the hotel cancelled the rest of the reservation because of it. Not a call or email to say, “Sir was there a flight delay or an accident?” No just cancelled the remaining 4 nights then rebooked us in like they were doing us a favour.
Parking garage has no power doors to get into the hotel which sucks when you’re hauling the luggage and there are like 3-4 sets of doors and stairs pending where you are.
Room was ok, but air was super dry, so dry maybe bring chap stick.
Food was okay. Their scrambled eggs were too diluted taking away flavour.
Will not attend a convention there again.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!
We stayed on the night of October 24. They had no heat in our room. When we complained they said the heat was not on yet (even though by law they had to have it on by October 1 according to the landlord tenancy act). We were then given two free breakfasts and two free parking passes by front desk. I said this was not acceptable. The front desk said this was just a step. I had two rooms the first night- one booked through Expedia and the other booked through the hotel. Both rooms no heat.
They brought us one small heater the first night. The morning the fuse blew and we were freezing. It took until almost 3 pm for them to move us to a room with heat (the other person left the hotel so did not require the other room). When we got there there was no hot water. Finally they fixed the water hours later.
We tried to talk to a manager but got the run around. We checked out October 26.
On October 27 we went back to the hotel and asked for a manager. Front desk said he wasn’t there. We about to leave, and guess who walked out- a guy in a suit. We asked if he wasn’t the manager. He said yes.
His name is Manooj Nair. He was very condescending. He tried to place blame on us even though we asked to speak to a manager. He would not refund the two nights bought through Expedia. He said to call Expedia and ask them to refund. He finally agreed to give one nights return on the hotel paid in person.
I went and got my refund for the one night.
A few hours later I get a call from the desk saying that they have charged my card for 2 breakfasts and 2 parking passes that were given to me FREE by the hotel. This is FRAUD.
I reported this to my credit card as fraud. The hotel denies wrong doing. I called Expedia to get reimbursed for my two nights. Expedia emailed the hotel regarding authorization to refund. The hotel did not respond to the email. After a few days I called both my credit card and Expedia again. Expedia called the hotel this time, and the hotel said they are NOT authorizing the return of money. These calls were made again last night. So the hotel said they would get a manager to call me back last night. They still have not called me.
Also, I called corporate and got the run around.

We hosted a family reunion in the Kitchener Suites. The food was excellent. The kitchen bent over backward to ensure that all our unique dietary needs were met. Everyone was gracious and most helpful. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for any event you are planning.

The entrance hotel is located badly from standpoint of access from public streets.Area in front for cars to stop and guests to checkin and get parked is too small, and awful for a disabled person, one of whom was in my 3 person group.Parking garage faraway for older people ,and disabled older people.Restaurant and bar understaffed, menu offerings substandard, especially when considering price.A cold night last night. No heat in hotel. No hot water ,so no shower or shave last night or this am.Slept in all my clothes including shoes and winter coat. Slept badly
and got up and checked out early in the morning. Went to car parking for the hotel-pay parking-
And found my car had been broken into.I asked for a discount off the roommate and it was refused. It was ,literally a nightmarish night and stay. Never again.
