I read a lot of reviews prior to going. Even though I felt people were likely whiners trying to get free stuff, I was still a little nervous. Truth is I feel bad for the hotel. It seems no matter what they do, people are upset and they try to weaponize their reviews for freebies/compensation. I guess i look at things differently than most. Of course problems can occur. You should only judge them on how fast they fix it, IF it can be fixed. Now for a truthful review. I stayed with my kids (13 and 11) just stayed there April 7th to 8th for an MRI The hotel is beautiful. The staff is also very polite. Everyone we talked to. Front desk read off my request to not have to walk alot so they put me in a room right next to the elevator due to my mobility issues (hence the MRI). Our room had a fridge and microwave and also came with big bottles of Shampoo, conditioner wnd soap attached to the wall so no need to bring your own. Beds were comfortable and we slept great. Had no issues with temperature as others mentioned but the room had windows that opened so i dont understand that. The room came with the breakfast buffet and it didnt disappoint. Bacon, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, omelette station, fresh fruit, cold cereal, hot cereal and so much more. What a great way to start the day before travel home. As someone with mobility issues and a single mom it was nice to get us all fed before being on the road. I also appreciated the business center which allowed me to print off previous tests to bring to my MRI and there was no charge for it. Now the cons but they might not apply to everybody. If you have mobility issues and are traveling alone id probably recommend staying elsewhere due to parking/check in. Its not easy. Luckily I unloaded my luggages at check in and left my kids there with it while I went to go park my car. I had to drive down an alley to the parking garage. Due to my disabled parking permit I was able to park right near the gate, but if you dont have one and the hotel is busy be prepared to walk. Even with a permit if you have more luggage than you can handle its not easy to walk to the back door. A big garage door type door came down (likely to keep cars safe) and the only exit was a small body sized gate. Then cross the alley to the other side to the back door to enter the hotel. The door is heavy and not automatic. Then you have to go up stairs before entering another heavy door to get you inside. Then what surprised me was when I tried to return to my car and re-enter through that gate, it was locked. I used the intercom to ask how to get in. I had to walk back about 30 feet to enter using the keycard to access the parking garage. Parking garage is also very low. I have an SUV and i kept thinking i was going to crash. Not sure trucks can fit there. If you are with family thay can leave you at the front desk with your luggages, than id still recommend this hotel. Its gorgeous and affordable. The other con and this one did bug me a little. We rented this hotel due to the arcade/bowling/mini putt. The bowling was out of order. Most machines were out of order. There is a sign that says its operated by a 3rd party but the front desk said the bowling has been down about a week. And other reviews mention a lot being out of order too months ago. So this hasnt been fixed in a timely manner. So im judging them for that. Because this was the whole reason we rented the hotel and i brought my kids. Its misleading to advertise it on the website if youre not going to make efforts to keep it operational. I have another MRI end of June in kitchener and I dont know what to do. If I bring my kids, if I come back to this hotel? Will the arcade and bowling be fixed by then? My kids were excited for all that and ended up being really bored. There was also swimming lessons in the pool all day which was odd.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the convenient location near shops and restaurants. Overall, it offered great value for money. I would definitely stay here again!”

We had a corner room that had adjoining rooms with balcony looking into our room. We booked online and choose this hotel because of how close it was to the venue and it said breakfast included. What a lie! We had 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was only included for adults. Tried to talk to the front desk. There excuse it doesnt say breakfast is included for everyone....what a misleading booking. Rude staff and didn't even care to fix the problem. Will never book here again.

The hotel is clean and the staff are great. Booked this room for children during march break and it was a disappointment . As you see in the photos there is a pool, bowling alley, mini golf and arcade. Upon check in the bowling alley didnt work, you have to pay extra for bowling mini golf and ping pong. The arcade was not in working order and the pool need a good cleaning and sanitizing. We thought this would be a one stop shop for inhouse fun for our kids but went else were in the city to accommodate for the let down. I wish in the description of the hotel it was honest with the amenities as the price of the room refelected the activities included

First and foremost the staff were lovely, but our trip started with the pole for parking going down on our car while we waited to get parked… Next, the entry from the parking lot was not accessible, including the doors and the step to get in. When you walk in the entrance at the main door, it is gorgeous, but it’s easy to tell that all the money was spent on the renovations of the main part. The hallways in the room were below average with stains on the carpet and on the duvet cover. We were excited for the amenities that the hotel offered which included mini golf, the arcade, ping-pong, and bowling. However, we soon realized by talking to the front desk that everything was an additional cost, and the bowling and half the arcade were out of order. We went to go swimming and there were public swimming lessons until 8 or 9 pm. There was three of us staying in the room, which I booked via Expedia that said breakfast was provided. What it failed to say it was only breakfast for two was provided in the third one had to be paid for. Again not told on the website. Going back to the pool the ground is coming up around around it, it definitely is safety hazard, and lots of the windows were boarded off. Unfortunately, we were expecting more for a downtown hotel.
