- KGKyla G.Dec 20, 20255.0I stopped here for a one night stay during a long car trip and expected a normal Hilton stay. However, this staff is the most pleasant staff I've experienced at a hotel. The young woman at the front desk was warm, helpful, and communicated clearly, but the most notable part of my stay was breakfast. I am not a morning person but the chefs are super fun and friendly and to be able to be around them first thing in my morning really changed my experience for the better. I couldn't catch their names (one may be Eric), but I hope they get the recognition they deserve as they are super awesome! I've been all over the world in Hiltons and they are the best Hilton employees I've met so far.

The staff were an absolute pleasure, and I especially want to mention Eric who worked in the breakfast/kitchen area. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and truly made us feel welcome. We also loved the pool and the gym, which were great additions to our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.

Rooms are nicely updated and the shower was very tempting to use, but we only stayed one night and I had taken a shower at home prior to coming. Beds felt clean and plush and tv was working with no issues. Have had issues in past from even regular hotels as opposed to value ones. There’s a big sitting area in the lobby for where your breakfast is and the volleyball team we were traveling with had a good time hanging out there and eating our dinner and just having a chill evening. Breakfast was great. They have a waffle station, hash browns, plain omelet and chicken sausages. Also have all the regulars for a continental breakfast like croissants, muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs and some fruit & yogurts. Parking is decent but if there’s a lot of people checking in for conferences or sports tournaments nearby, it can get packed fairly quickly. Nearby, there’s a Tim hortons within walking distance and lots of places to eat within a five minute drive. In just under 15 minutes, you can get to queens university and downtown Kingston. Always impressed with Hampton inn and will continuously choose Hampton inn as my first choice of hotels when booking spots in the future. Great job overall
