Charged me for a stay I was not there and would not give me my money back. I was charged for two nights without understanding that I actually had tried to cancel and that my son was sick.

The room was clean and very comfortable. I would give a zero for sound proof, as we could hear other people in the neighboring rooms. Staff of the hotel were friendly. A special shout out to Amanda at the front desk, she went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Make sure to bring snacks, they had a limited very expensive snack bar. We dined at the Canary in the hotel. The food was acceptable but, nothing amazing and the servers were okay, but did not make our meals an experience. And of course the famous Double Tree cookies were amazing!

1. The room size is below average and well under what I expected from a DoubleTree property.
2. We reserved two Queen beds, but they are not Queen size — they appear to be Double/Full beds.
3. The hotel is currently serving as a government shelter. I encourage future guests to do their own research so they’re aware before booking.
4. We’re here for a hockey tournament, so it works for our purposes, but I would not choose to stay here for business or vacation.
5. One of the front desk attendants has been very pleasant and helpful — I will update this review once I confirm her name. Unfortunately, another staff member at the desk has not been as welcoming.
6. The Hilton Honors app has been very unreliable. It frequently signs me out or has connectivity issues, which is frustrating when trying to use the digital key feature.
7. Overall, disappointing experience.

Nice property with modern amenities. We stay here regularly. Rooms are generally tidy, however, housekeeping has the opportunity to make the overall stay much better. Cleaners open the deadbolt and it slams into the frame repeatedly as they go in and out of the room. This reverberates through the room and shakes the headboard making it impossible to sleep even with earplugs.
Equipping everyone with a doorstop and ensuring it gets used would immediately take this review up a star. While not a regular occurrence like the doors, reminding staff to me mindful of their volume when speaking to one another (especially when in an adjoining room) would go a long way to make comfort here a 5/5.
Overall this is a very nice property with new comfortable rooms and a really good restaurant.

Completely not worth the money
Freezing cold shower at night and in the morning. Zero hot water. When we left in morning the lady at the front desk said it was fixed right before the 11 check out time. I had to plead for compensation.
They never let guests know there was an issue. For $360 for the night this was an unacceptable way to handle an issue. The lobby floor was a mess. The door ways and walls needed cleaning. The parking lot was not shovelled. The tv in room was not connected to internet so nothing wired and took a great deal of time to resolve.
The small bottled water in the room was $3.50 a bottle.
