- DBDaisey Bird6 days ago5.0Stayed here with my partner for two nights back in November. Upon arriving, the front desk was professional and kind, and the entrance area had a warm atmosphere. We received breakfast vouchers for both nights. Our room and the bathroom was very cozy and seemed clean. It was decorated well and fit the theme. We had brought some food with us and the front desk allowed us to use the microwave in the breakfast area and plugged it in for us too. Breakfast was better than I had anticipated. There were many options for food and snacks and it all seemed fresh. I have been to higher rated hotels with worse food than here. I will say, though, the milk was in a glass bottle and by the time we went for breakfast, it was room temperature. While their location is a bit far from downtown (~25min by bus) they were very close to a Loblaws and we stopped there for some snacks as well. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would definitely consider returning.

- SGSally GoldbergDec 28, 20255.0Definitely has a dated look, but then you realize all the upgrades that matter are there: excellent wifi, comfortable bed, new TV (with the remote sanitized between bookings and placed in a static-free bag). The dated look is actually charming, the staff are excellent (friendly and responsive), and we had everything we needed without having to ask. Very comfortable, with old fashioned quality service!
