- HMHannah MacDonald6 days ago1.0Such rude staff, our wifi and TV didn’t work so we asked for a partial refund or a credit of some sort because they advertised wifi and TV and she told us that other people didn’t complain and that we were rude for complaining. I’ve stayed at more than 20 hotels and air bnbs and I’ve never had such a horrible experience with customer service. The room wasn’t very nice either and the carpet was dirty

- BBbananaDec 31, 20254.0I don't stay in hotels so I really don't have much to compare this stay too but I was here for 4 nights and it was certainly not a bad experience. The staff was very friendly and I didn't experience bad service at any time. They were all helpful. Breakfast was small but prepared well and I had my fill each morning. The room was quite large and I didn't see anything wrong with the cleanliness. Room cleaning was fast and efficient. The gym was a little bare but honestly I liked the machines and treadmill, no complaints. Thanks for the stay 🙂

We appreciated the smooth check-in and the friendly service at the front desk. While there were minor issues with the hot water temperature and TV casting features, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was adequate. All in all, we enjoyed a pleasant stay.

However, as we were about to enjoy our stay, a few police officers and forensic unit came and were talking to a man across the hall of us. Listening onto the conversation, they confiscated a gun and knife from him and were discussing some shooting. This left us uncomfortable and we asked the front lobby person about it and learnt that they house homeless people that the fergus city pays for. This left us a bit more uncomfortable and uneasy. Also, we were given a ground floor room in front of the lobby and could hear noise from guests all night which left us to not have a restful sleep.
