I had a pet-friendly room over the Christmas holiday so I could bring my dog to town without bringing her to a hectic dinner. During dinner the freezing rain storm hit (12/28) and we were stranded out up 119, totally unable to even out of the driveway let alone drive back down to town because of the ice. I called the hotel and the night manager Ryan agreed to take our dog Ginger out at night and again at the end of his shift, ensuring she got out for a pee and had some food and water. It was incredibly helpful and above and beyond and Ginger was a happy girl when we returned in the morning. Thank you for taking care of our pup so she wasn’t stranded in a crate while we were stranded by frozen roads. (Photo isn’t from the hotel, but here’s the dog photo tax since I talked about her!)

Stayed here a few times, no issues. Very last time we stayed we were given a room that we did not reserve (reserved a 1 king suite, was given a 1 king suite accessible). We asked for our regular reservation and were given only the option of another room (queen suite). We took the option and figured out it was also a “dog friendly” room, something that was not mentioned (had an individual with allergies). When leaving on the last day - employee asked how our stay was that weekend. Normally, I would say great but this time I mentioned it was not good. It does seem that employees might need more training on what to do when a guest says it wasn’t great. I received a “oh, no. Sorry about that”. Which doesn’t really give any chance for feedback on maybe - WHY the stay was not good. Wrote an email s complaining about the stay and how it was not the original reservation we booked. I got an email back saying they would give us points which equaled to about 50 dollars. I wrote an email back and no response since then. Hope guests are mindful when booking - as apparently you will be given a room that you did not book and there is no choice. Mind you - if there was no parking available to me that was convenient - I could NOT park in the accessible parking. But, if the hotel deems something a convenient decision to them - it’s okay. Also, have a video of the lovely sound our AC system made all weekend (LOUD and conveniently right by our bed).

Room is great with decent size bathroom. Their complimentary hot choco and coffee in the lobby is a fantastic perk. My family enjoyed our 2 night stay

This brand new hotel is just perfect for your visit to Collingwood. Great experience from check in to check out time. Ample safe parking for larger vehicles. Took advantage of my room with the fully equipped kitchen. Wow. Just like being at home. Even had a reclining chair that was super comfy just like the king bed. Solid quality construction, furnishings and appliances. Also used the complimentary laundry room which is open 24hrs which is so handy for a longer stay. Even provide you with your own laundry basket in every room! Their Ivory brand toiletries and the Georgian Bay soft water make your skin super soft in this dry cold weather. Staff were so nice. Also met a sweet little dog named Holly a few times. Even though this hotel offers pet friendly rooms, it is still super clean and fresh inside and outside too.

Stayed here for two nights over Christmas. All the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. I was extremely impressed with the rooms and how accessible they were it was extremely nice to have a fridge and a cooktop over our stay. Here is a video I took of the outside with my drone. It’s a very nice place to stay. Highly recommended!!
