We had to change our room twice. The first time due to assigning us an accessible room at the end of the hallway. The second time because there were so many flies in the room. And finally, the third room had fewer flies but still had a few ladybugs. The concierge just casually said that it's normal to have ladybugs during this time of the year. We saw the ladybugs all over the breakfast dining area as well. The complimentary breakfast was inedible - the eggs tasted like cardboard and the hot water jug was lukewarm at best. There's also a musty smell throughout the entire hotel that was very unpleasant. Avoid this hotel!

The last time we came to this hotel it was OLD. You could tell it had not been renovated for likely 20-25 maybe 30 years. I was hesitant to stay here again but we had seen they had completely renovated the entire hotel. That gave me great hope I was really praying we would get a renovated room and not an older one that hadn't been renovated yet. When we arrived we could tell an instant difference. Everything looked NEW and beautiful. First impression walking in was great. Then we got to our room and WOW we were elated to see we had one of the brand new renovated rooms. It was a double queen suite with a pull out couch. Everything was brand new. Bathroom excellent! Beds to die for to sleep on. The little living room was great! All in all we were treated to a beautiful renovated room. Also USB plug ins in the wall right beside both queen beds! There was a coffee machine to make the pod coffee and a sink outside the bathroom. Mini fridge kept everything nice and cold. We had TWO massive brand new TV's. We were extremely happy. Also the room was HUGE!
- The ONLY con we had about this room was that the TV in the living room did not work. It was a brand new LG TV but all you could do was browse it's menu. It didn't have a cable box hooked up to it. Now I am sure if we called down and asked for help to fix it they may have been able to connect it to the internet and used it to watch Youtube or any other app on that TV. (To mention the TV worked it just did not have cable nor was it able to connect to the hotel WiFi for some reason it kept saying error).
- The other TV took awhile for my parents to figure out how to get it on the basic cable television. I was busy trying to figure out the TV in the living room until I finally gave up and came over to their side of the room and got the cable working in under 5 minutes. (Perks of being a millenial). I would suggest that the hotel get cable boxes for both TV's so cable can be enjoyed on both living room TV and beds TV. Like I said I could have called down and likely had some sort of resolution to this problem but we were happy with the one TV working with cable as we got home late and just tossed on Jimmy Fallon late night while we got ready for bed.
OVERALL I would recommend anyone to stay here. We have stayed at the Brockville Hampton Inn by Hilton and honestly after the Holiday Inn Express & Suites renovation their hotel is JUST AS GOOD as the Hampton. Free breakfast included! It is directly off the highway super easy to get to! Stay here you will love it and also there is a pool too!
