  One of the absolute best staff we have had and great experience at this hotel. We spent 3 nights and amenities were great, staff extraordinary, and location perfect for our needs and quick access to the 401.

  I have stayed at other holiday inn express hotels and this one by far was the worst experience. They need more carts for luggage the service desk said there was only 2 and the time I was there i didn't see any. There is not enough parking and you have to walk pretty far to the front with your luggage since there is no carts. The elevator is old and slow takes forever! The room and bed was not to bad. We were on the second floor and all you can smell is chlorine from the pool which is sickening when your trying to sleep. I could write the issues all day but they just need to upgrade the hotel cuz I won't stay there again till they do.

  While the staff were fantastic, accommodating and overly friendly. The rooms themselves appear quite dated. They appeared clean at the time of my stay, but showed a thick layer of dust build up inside the lamps. The fan in the washroom sounded like a mini turbine and did not have separate functionality from the light. At the time of my stay, the pool/hot tub were out of service, with the expectation that it would be in service the next day, it was not. Breakfast is pretty standard, with the toaster oven being out of service and the pancake machine not being operational at the time of use. Overall a standard hotel in need of some upgrades

  I had a great experience at the Clarington Holiday Inn. The hotel is in a perfect location, the rooms were clean, and the staff was outstanding. Lucy and Shakayla made my stay even more pleasant with their warm, friendly welcomes, and they kept the morning kitchen spotlessly clean. There was a small inconvenience with the front door not functioning properly, but the staff corrected it quickly. They also added a security guard during the stay as several sports teams of teenagers were staying at the hotel. This proactive approach shows the team’s strong attention to detail and commitment to running a well-managed hotel.

  Due to having CAA we got a suite for $10 extra. It was a beautiful big room. There was an issue in the pool area with some guests and we received $100 off our nights stay. Totally shocked we were offered that. So very great full and will stay at the Holiday Inn in Bowmanville again. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
