  My family traveled from Sault Ste Marie to Southern Ontario for a hockey tournament and had a room booked at a different establishment where the room was atrocious, not to mention a huge argument with the staff so we left. After driving around for 30 minutes and checking online we found a Holiday inn Express in Barrie. The front desk attendant Darlene was extremely friendly helped my family. Darlene showed immense compassion for our terrible situation from the previous establishment. Darlene's professionalism is exactly what the Holiday Inn should be proud of. She made my family feel wanted and made us feel like we mattered. 10 Stars for her customer service, 10 stars for her friendliness and 10 stars for the Holiday inn Express in Barrie.

  Old food was left in the fridge, the old reservation card for the previous guests. Constant issues with the key card. And overall poor customer service. Walls are paper thin, and could hear everything going on in the rooms surrounding me. Would not recommend.

  The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were especially cozy, and everything felt fresh and organized. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, offering a good variety of hot and cold options to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. Parking was easy and accessible, which is always a plus.

  Had to stay during a massive storm this weekend and Cera was super helpful in getting us a room and making a stressful experience an easy one!
