Our check out was 11Am. 10 am all rooms were locked and keys wouldn’t work, took us 20 mins to get new keys at the front to get our stuff after breakfast. Through out this time and our stay over the weekend. Cleaning staff constantly came into rooms unannounced and while members of our team were sleeping, changing or showering. It was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Everyone had do not disturb on their door and they would come right in with out a knock. Alongside this when they were cleaning rooms the door was closed behind them so you didn’t know someone was unexpectedly in your room when you walked in. We have never ever had this happen at any other hotel. Door is always propped open when cleaning and a do not disturb sign means DO NOT DISTURB….

Stayed here on business for three nights and I can honestly say that I will miss that bed! The room was clean and modern, with a nice shower, and the bed was SUPER comfortable! The breakfast is typical free hotel breakfast fare. The parking is outdoor but well lit and felt safe. The hotel is very close to several restaurants and shopping. The only downside is the noise from the 404, hence the 4 stars for location. Although the hotel's proximity to the 404 is a bonus, if you need to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

Large room. Bed comfortable. Reception very helpful. Plenty of parking. Complementary breakfast was ok. No kettle in room so hard to make tea but reception provided milk. Seems a little expensive compared to other hotels in the region so dropping one star.

Back in February 2021, during the height of the pandemic, I witnessed something truly heartwarming. A friend of mine, Michael Walters, who is on the autism spectrum and has a deep passion for elevators and trains, was given a special opportunity by one of the managers, Amanda. She kindly allowed him to explore the elevators in the building—a gesture that meant the world to him. It’s not often that managers go out of their way to make such thoughtful accommodations, especially during such a challenging time. Amanda’s kindness and understanding made Michael’s birthday incredibly special, and I’ll always be grateful for that. The hotel itself was also impressive—the elevators and rooms looked elegant and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly and professional. But what really stood out was Amanda’s compassion. She turned an ordinary visit into an unforgettable moment of happiness for someone who truly appreciated it. Thank you, Amanda, for your kindness and for going above and beyond. Acts like yours remind us how much a little understanding and empathy can brighten someone’s day.
