Atrocious. Helping my son and daughter in law move, so they paid for the room in advance. Parts of the room hadn't been cleaned in a long time, thick dust on bed headboard. Got one of the suites and needed to use the pull-out bed. Pulled it out, sheets from previous guest still on it, with food crumbs and dirty kleenex. There was no bedding in the room for me to change sheets. Tried to just put the bed back and sleep on the couch, but, the bed wouldn't return back into the couch. So forced to go to the desk and get bedding. Late-guy at the desk blamed housekeeping and said the previous guests also had an issue with the pull-out bed (which the owner later denied). He then called the owner who ok'd a "discount" for us. Back at the room, the pull-out was clearly broken, unusable, with head of the bed sagging down about 12 inches. In the morning, after housekeeping walked in our room, not knowing we were there, I followed up on the "discount" at the front desk. The reply I received was, "oh, it's already been applied." When I asked how much, the person at the desk went to get the owner. I then told the whole pull-out bed situation to the owner, which took a while because she kept interrupting. She took notes and said she'd investigate. But seeing other reviews, looks like this is an ongoing problem at this location. When I asked the owner directly about the "discount", she also said, "oh yes, it's already been applied." I had to press her for the amount which was a pathetic $20. That's when I decided I'd write a review. THEN, I went over to join my family for the "full breakfast". Hardly anything there at 8:30 am(see photos). I guess at some point, there were potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles and rock hard donut holes. No eggs, no protein, old dried orange slices, a juice machine that didn't work. Another guest told us the juice cups had mold in them. Coffee machine wouldn't work. I started taking pictures of the breakfast, then the owner came over and started taking pictures of us. When we asked her why, she said it's for training purposes. Cute building from the outside. Too bad the book is not reflective of the cover.

All the stars and more!
I was traveling and found myself in a predicament. Fortunately, I landed in the best possible location. The fabulous staff embraced me and made sure that I had everything I needed. Deena (not sure I spelled that correctly) was there for emotional and physical support. I later learned that she is the owner of the establishment. I have never seen an owner more involved in the day to day duties. She seemed to be there at all times, taking care of every detail. She clearly puts her heart and soul into her business, and it shows. The hotel is super clean, very tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable, all at a very competitive price. If I could find an exact duplicate at every stop, I would travel with more confidence. I definitely recommend this hotel, and send my thanks and love to Deena and her staff.
