    The team member employees were great; however, it is clear the franchise owners of the Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa South-Bixby are trying to increase their bottom line by removing advertised and expected amenities. First, I was very disappointed to learn the pool was closed. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool as it is a highlight for my kids. At first I just assumed it was just poor timing. But after looking at the recent reviews, it is obvious the pool has been “out” for some time. Makes me question if there is room for a larval case with a basis of false advertisement. Second, when we went downstairs for the breakfast, both waffle makers were “broke”. (See photo). I find it highly suspicious that both waffle makers were broke. More likely the scenario was the owners did not want take on the trouble or expense of providing waffles. Do you know what chain states in their booking app when the pool is out of order, Holiday Inn(IHG). And I’ve never not had the waffles or pancake maker broke. I do not just hold the franchise owners responsible for their poor business practices but also Hilton. I looked up KPIs that franchise owners are required to meet. They were all tied to occupancy rate and revenue. There should be KPIs tied to maintaining the Hilton brand such as providing a certain level of el of breakfast and a required uptime for amenities claimed to be offered.
