⭐️ 1 Star — And that’s generous
I don’t know what alternate universe this Hampton Inn in Tulsa thinks it’s operating in, but it sure isn’t one where “basic hospitality” exists. Based on my stay, here’s the rundown:
First off, I open the bathroom door and am greeted by what I pray were pube hairs. Nothing says “welcome” like starting your evening with someone else’s DNA.
Then there’s the WiFi. When I asked why the Roku TV wouldn’t connect, the staff literally told me they “couldn’t afford the bandwidth” to support the TVs in the rooms. So… they put them there knowing they don’t work? Genius business model. Ended up burning through my own phone data just to watch something besides the slow-motion meltdown of my patience.
The room itself felt like a swamp sauna. The AC unit was basically a box that hummed loudly and did absolutely nothing. When I asked Jake, the night staff for help, the response was—no exaggeration—“come get a fan.”
A FAN.
At a hotel.
In 2025.
In Oklahoma humidity that could drown a full-grown adult.
And the attitude? Top-tier rudeness. If customer service were a sport, the night staff would be actively disqualified for aggressive disinterest.
By the end of the night, I was honestly just waiting to see what fresh disappointment would introduce itself next.
If you enjoy muggy rooms, mystery hairs, useless TVs, and staff who act like you’re ruining their day by simply existing, by all means—book a stay. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction fast!

We booked a reservation here six months in advance. NOWHERE on the website did it say you have to be 21+ to check in we arrived after a 6 hour drive (19 and 20 years old) to the hotel and were turned away at 8 PM in 40° weather by a very rude desk attendant, who acted as if we were children . My friend is disabled and she gave her a disgusted look and wouldn't make eye contact with her (the reservation holder). We received NO refund and no advice on another hotel to book.
Shout out Motel 6!!! 10 minutes away that accepted us ,had a wonderful service and took my credit card without withholding the service !

If you are in town for a BOK event, this Hotel is for you. You can cross the street and be at the BOK. The room we stayed in was roomy and comfortable enough. It was clean and safe, with elevators requiring key cards to go up. Most hotels can feel noisy depending on your neighbors etiquette, this one was at the very least average in that regards. There was adequate dining options within walking distance as well. Some of the downsides, parking. There is a parking garage behind but unattached from the hotel, that you park in. It is an added 20 dollars a night fee added on your base hotel price. Breakfast is standard buffet style hotel food. Filling and cost saving but not much more. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, so high marks there. A good all around place to stay for a visit.

The room was pretty decent and clean. The pillows were a little too soft for me, and I would have liked a thicker blanket on my bed. The front desk clerk was very helpful with parking info and getting us checked in. The hotel is right by the BOK Center, so we just had to park the car & not move it until we were checking out. That was very convenient! Didn’t hear any traffic noise, or people going to/from the elevator, so that was good. Also we couldn’t get the tv to work so someone came straight up to help us with that. Plus, the hotel is not far from some of the museums that we visited; everything was conveniently close by.
I would stay here again.

Overall very unimpressed. I always stay at the doubletree when I stay downtown Tulsa, but it was booked solid for the Paul McCartney concert. So Hilton Honors referred me to the Hampton. There were literally maggots in the room with little black flies all over the bathroom. On top of that they gouged the heck out of me and my family on the two rooms we got. Nearly a 1000 a night because of the concert. The only thing that was positive about the experience was the employees were very polite and informative. But I will never stay here again.
