"From the moment you step through the doors of the historical Skirvin Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, you're transported into a cinematic event! While the air may whisper of ghostly tales, the atmosphere is truly magical, a captivating blend of historic charm and modern luxury. The phenomenal staff treats you like a headliner, ensuring a pampered, unforgettable stay. The restaurant is a cinematic triumph, offering the best food in the metro area. My steak was a 'fistful of deliciousness', a true John Wayne moment, and the seafood Tower was pure magic, transporting me to a blissful beach resort. The manager's spectacular service ensured a truly memorable night, and the awesome Red Piano Lounge completes the perfect picture. I highly recommend the Skirvin for an unparalleled stay, and can't wait to return for a second time!"

The rooms, people and piano bar are brilliant. Other than that, make sure you have an hour to wait for your food and another hour to wait for valet. We were here during the weekend of OU playoffs and the holiday season. This should have been managed better.

Very rude customer service, I will be canceling my Hilton Honers membership. It gave a we will treat u how u dress treatment. Yesterday I purchased a future travel package for any 15 Hilton hotels in Orlando in which I will also be canceling My partner &I heard rumors about this hotel being haunted also it is all over social media therefore being a Hilton Honors member as of 2018 I decided to book this hotel for business/tourist. Due to all the publicity this hotel has we thought it would be a good idea to Explore the hotel. Along the way we met another lady guest here at this hotel in which we all got along &she decided to join us after hearing the hotels history. I did not know if this hotel had a roof top or not so we thought it would be a good idea to check it out. After checking this out the security kindly told us we could not be in this area as our room was on the 11th floor not the 14 floor. We gladly went downstairs to the lobby & explained to the guard that we were tourists &due to the fame this hotel has we were doing a bit of exploring as my Partner happens to be a well known Influencer &we wanted to see it our self’s. The guard stated it was no issue therefore we sat in the lobby for roughly 15-20mins admiring the unique design. We noticed the 2nd floor had a look over lobby in which we thought was pretty unique so we checked it out. We sat in this area maybe 7-10 minutes. The same guard approached us said we can not bw here &we needed to leave now! We road the elevator back to the lobby with him As we apologized &mentioned we did not know this area was not allowed. We sat back down in the lobby 10 seconds went by he came back &said “If your not on ur phone finding what to do or where to go or using any of our services then u need to go back to your room “ keep in mind it was roughly 3:30- 4:00am. I said to him it being this time of course nothing is currently operating. He then stated I can’t have u lingering around in the lobby for hours not doing anything. I mentioned to him “Sir we were here roughly 15-20 mins before we went to overlook the lobby from the 2nd floor now we are back down and have not been here for over 30 minutes. He said the lobby is closed after hours &I can’t have u guys sitting here not doing anything. I said where in the website does it state this information or if you can show me a sign I will apologize as I was not aware &will head back to my room. He showed me an entrance door sign for guests stating doors will be closed from such time. I said this is a protocol to keep guests safe for people who do not need to be here after hours if they do not have a key card for our safety. The guard stated do u have a room? Of course we all are guests here &u are telling me after 20-30 minutes of have been in the lobby that if we are not using services or on our phone then we can not sit in the lobby &u are demanding to go back to our rooms? isn't the lobby for guests to sit relax and have a conversation. He said no it’s for people to wait for a ride or uber &wait for the reception. He escorted me to the rude hosts who said it was not a policy but for their convenience working there this is how they operated. After an hour standing there discussing with them the guard faked to call 911 after both talked over me. After a long confrontation I told them we 3 would continue to sit in the lobby whike we ate what we purchased. They did not seem to happy! Shortly after another gentleman came in to check in the guard stated I was a disturbance. After eating I asked the host for her name also her co workers name. She said she did not know &would go ask him. When she came back out she gave me his name &stated he did not have a last name. I mentioned as he was demanding me to go back to my room I need to also know his last name. I asked if she could ask him to come out so I could ask him myself &she said SHE was not allowing him to come out to talk to me. Lady guest we met asked if we could accompany her to her vehicle &left stating she would be staying else where &also canceling her membership.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars – Terrifyingly Clean Plumbing I recently stayed at the most haunted hotel in Oklahoma City, and let me tell you… the spirits were very present, especially in the bathroom. At exactly 3:00 a.m., the lights flickered as I made my way to the toilet, feeling watched by something that definitely did not pay for a room. The air turned cold. The mirror fogged up on its own. I swear I heard whispering that sounded like, “You’re not alone…” And yet—there I was. Courageously pooping. The toilet seat was ice cold, as if a Victorian-era ghost had just vacated it. The pipes groaned and moaned like tortured souls in the walls, reacting to my every move. When I flushed, it sounded less like plumbing and more like a portal opening to the underworld. I briefly wondered if my offering had been accepted by the spirits. Despite the overwhelming paranormal activity, the bathroom was spotless, the water pressure was strong, and the toilet held firm against forces both physical and supernatural. No ghostly hands grabbed me. No demons emerged from the shower drain. A true win. If you’re looking for a place where you can confront your deepest fears, make peace with the dead, and still have a successful bathroom experience—this is the hotel for you. Would absolutely stay again, but next time I’m bringing sage. Highly recommend for thrill-seekers and brave poopers alike. 👻🚽
