Been here twice now since they opened. The rooms are nice, beds comfortable, and I enjoy the view looking over the courtyard.
The location is next to a few high end restaurants and a great shopping mall.
It’s pricier than other hotels I’ve stayed at in OKC so I reserve my stays here for special occasions due to that, and the $20 per night parking charge. I find it interesting that some Hilton properties give diamonds members free parking while others still charge.
While they have a restaurant on-site, I’ve never had a full meal there. The menu doesn’t appeal to me and they don’t have any recognition of diet sensitive customers. This is the case for both breakfast and dinner. We went to other restaurants nearby instead.
I’ll still come here despite the limitations but felt other should be aware in case it was a big deal for them.

Second visit, immensely better than the first when they just opened. Willis at the front desk is the man. A genuine professional and welcoming presence.

Lively on OAK is a stylish new spot on the OKC scene, and I had the chance to spend two days here for a class in one of their ballrooms.
Parking: Easy win. The open lot just behind the hotel was free and a short stroll to the door. Some colleagues used the garage, and I’m told there’s a charge for guests, but the surface lot worked perfectly.
Front Desk: Shoutout to the desk clerk who deserves MVP status. I was having trouble with my hand (still healing) and desperately needed lotion. None in the restrooms, but he sprang into action, disappeared, and came back with exactly what I needed. That level of attentiveness doesn’t go unnoticed.
Meeting Space & Food: The ballroom setup was clean, tech worked seamlessly, and while I’d have preferred classroom tables over rounds, the banquet staff more than made up for it. They were phenomenal: attentive, professional, and clearly proud of their work. Food was fresh and high quality. Bravo to that team.
Bar & Patio: Gorgeous. The perfect vibe for a break or to wind down after a full day. But here’s where I hit a snag. Our class wrapped up a little early, and I thought it’d be fun to bring everyone together for a celebratory cocktail. The bartender’s response: “Happy hour ends at 4. It’s 1 to 4.” Full stop. No flexibility, no alternate suggestion, just an emphatic “no.” And that, honestly, was a letdown. Hospitality is about finding a way to yes, and management should empower the team to make guests feel welcome beyond the rules.
Overall: Lively on OAK is a fresh addition to OKC with real potential. The banquet and front desk teams nailed it; they set the bar high. If the bar staff matched that same spirit, this would have been an easy 5-star week.
FOLLOW-UP NOTE:
I appreciate the reply, but it reads like a template and doesn’t address the actual feedback. I took time to recognize standout service from your banquet and front-desk teams and to flag a fixable issue at the bar. When management doesn’t acknowledge details, it suggests the real takeaways aren’t being reviewed with staff. That misses an easy win. Social responsibility in hospitality means valuing guest voices, not just responding to them. I’d welcome a manager follow-up so the bar experience can match the excellence I saw elsewhere.
