The lack of customer service and just overall care is beyond poor. I was left stranded at the airport for 30 minutes the day after my grandmothers passing. Wendy repeatedly hung up on me and ignored my calls when I called for updates, blatant disregard. Shuttle driver was great, even when Wendy hung up on him too. Some customer service training could be the answer :)

Let's start with all the good things about this hotel: Very close to the airport Very close to I-40 and I-44 Quiet location (so nice!) Comfortable bed! Room size Lobby Store (great for grab and go items or a late night snack, including a beer!) Charleston's Restaurant 100 feet away (my favorite OKC restaurant) Helpful staff (I had a noise complaint late one night and called the front desk. They sincerely apologized and attempted to address the issue to the best of their ability) Here are a few things that weren't so great: There are two elevators but only one was in service 95%of the time and it's painfully slow. Breakfast is not complimentary ($15). I asked for only one housekeeping day during my 5 day stay and it wasn't performed. Still, I would definitely choose the DoubleTree again on my next visit.

Don’t get a room facing the front of the hotel. I’ve been up since 3 AM with all of the construction work in the area and street noise.

Great lil hotel, rooms are nice, but be cautious of what you order at the bar. The bartender I had tonight thinks the large side of the jigger for alcohol is a “double” and the small tiny side is a “single”. Just got a 70$ tab for 4 drinks. Which is ridiculous for the amount of liquor she poured. She’s clearly not a bartender and needs to be told the difference between a single and a double. I bartended all thru college so I’m aware of what the correct pour is per ounce. For reference, both sides in a glass is a double, the large side is a single by itself. 1.25oz on the big side, .75oz on the small side. Together 2oz is a double. Hence double, two. 1.25 is a single. PLEASE educate her of the differences. I was going to but the language barrier that was there made it seem like more trouble than it was worth after a long day of flights. Management needs to correct this as 70$ for 4 drinks is absurd.
