We have stayed in this hotel 3 time’s now. The first 2 times we had an amazing rooms. Clean smelt good looked new. This time we stayed in room 206 and the room smells has a ripped chair and the furniture is soiled. We are very disappointed. We rely stay about every few months because of location and the wonderful restaurant in front of it Charleston’s steak house. This is very very disappointing and we are very dissatisfied . Capitalism at its finest. Only booked this place because my mom is loyal to the DoubleTree brand when traveling. From the $15/person for breakfast to the $3 for the room temp bottled 16.9 oz water in the hotel room. This place was not hospitable. Rooms are outdated. Found stained bedding on my bed. Housekeeping wasn't available "due to the holiday" when it was Dec. 21st. They did give us two free DoubleTree cookies at check-in but it had nuts and I would have much preferred a complimentary water. Only perk was it was right off I-40 with various food options nearby.

Worst place to stay with old furniture and room smells with torn curtains, when i spoken with front desk they directly saying we are not aware of the room condition, house keeping said it empty and we allot to room customers. I never heard such an irresponsible answer. On the top these things AC is so horribly sounding.

My wife booked me and my teenage daughter a room here so we could go to a concert. We went up to the room and changed into our swim wear and went to the pool and hot tub. When we got back to the room I discovered that my underwear was gone. Me and my daughter searched and searched the entire room multiple times and no underwear was found. We went to the front desk and informed them of the stolen underwear and the fact that someone was able to get into our room. I talked to Kylie and informed her. I spoke to Lidia the manager and she literally laughed at me. The mini fridge in the room didn’t work. There was black and green mold growing by the mini fridge. The heater literally smelt like it was burning and had to sleep with the window open. They offered to switch me to a single bed room when I booked a double bed room. I told them that wouldn’t work because I didn’t want to share a bed with my teenage daughter. So we were forced to stay in the room. Ridiculous that my underwear of all things got stolen and I got laughed at by the manager on duty. Highly unprofessional and nasty hotel.

Not sure if it was the vociferous snoring of my neighbor through the paper thin walls or the thunderous booms of the big rig loading his haul across the street that woke me up at 4am; Either way, I won’t be staying here again.
