I would like to start this review by saying that I'd have no problem staying at this hotel again, but they do have room for improvement.
When I arrived, it was late but the front desk agent checked me in and was very friendly. He pointed me to my room, and I went to unload my car only to find that the door he'd pointed me to was closed with the privacy latch from the inside. I went back to the front to find that my room had two doors - one that opened to the outside and one that opened to the interior hall. The interior room door opened just fine so I could get settled in.
The next day, I left for the day and came back to find that the exterior door was standing open. Not fully open, but open enough that I didn't even need to use my key - just push it open. I had checked and locked the room when I left, but the door was just... open. I checked my belongings and nothing had been taken, so I'm not sure what happened there.
A couple days later, I found out my keys had only been made for two days out of my week's stay - and I found that out after coming back after a busy day only to find that my keys weren't letting me in. The keys were fixed quickly enough, but it didn't really build my confidence in the hotel. After that, thankfully, I didn't have any other access issues with my room.
I can say, though, that the mattress was very firm, more like a padded box than a mattress, but I did sleep on it well enough not to ask to be moved. The door had gaps around it that were big enough to see daylight through and it was at just the right angle to catch the wind and make it whistle constantly (that might have had something to do with the door being open that one evening). The fridge worked okay but not fantastic, and the hotel across the street had security vehicles called on more than one night, so it isn't in the absolute best part of town.
Still, the staff members were nice, and I'd stay here again. I'd just want to poke the mattress in my room and see if the door was sealed right before I committed to a room.
