- EFEric FarrisJan 21, 20265.0I didn’t actually stay at this Avid Hotel, but I still wanted to leave a review because of how Brenda handled a situation that could have easily become a problem. It was a sold-out New Year’s Eve, and due to an unexpected issue I couldn’t make it. I called early that morning to let the hotel know, not realizing that on sold-out nights the system automatically checks everyone in. My card was charged, and this could have turned into a long, frustrating dispute. Brenda took the time to listen, explained how the process works, and handled everything professionally. Even though she couldn’t verify who I spoke with earlier, she used common sense and took care of it without making things difficult. If this is how they treat customers who didn’t even get the chance to stay, I can only imagine how well they take care of the ones who do. I’m looking forward to getting back to Oklahoma City so I can actually stay here next time.

Bed was comfy, but shower ceiling & walls in room 215 had drywall damage, room was on the too small side, no closet, odd sitting bench that was too high and crammed into the fridge & shelving space. Breakfast was worse than Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Juice machine was broken. Great location by mall. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. There are better choices.
