We drove from Chicago 819 miles upon arrival with no other stay options as we already had a reservation with this hotel the clerk told us we would not be allowed to kill time in their parking lot and that security would run us off. I won't accept any we can not accommodate your early check in due to unavailability as only 5 cars were in their parking lot so that simply will not fly. To note that when a customer has a reservation even with availability or not to be threatened by staff to be thrown off property simply because they cannot accommodate you at that time is an unprofessional outrage. And let me just say that the only true professional that day was the Security Officer as he at least had the ability to determine that we were not riff raff but decent business people who value having a safe and secure place to be we stayed in our car that night in safety despite the threats of the overnight male clerk.

Secondly, there’s no closet to hang the clothes, the room has hangers on the wall where I have to hang all my uniforms , no drawers either ! no coffee pot in the room , you have to go as well to the first floor to get coffee. Lastly the most inconvenient one was , no laundry on site for the customer. With heavy storm and snowing, washing clothes need to be outside laundrymat. And during breakfast time, the housekeeper was sweeping the floor, I mean really people are eating! and no one wants to move or change table. She keeps cleaning the food warmer sides while other customers are waiting for her to move out of the way. I would have given this 1 rate but because it’s close to the airport and its convenient check in, good bed to sleep in so I gave it a three stars.
