  I recently stayed at this hotel while traveling in for a funeral, and I wasn’t in the best headspace when I arrived. Traveling under those circumstances is exhausting and emotional, and honestly I just wanted a smooth, quiet stay without any added stress. I was checked in by Eon, and from the very beginning, he made things easier. The process was quick and seamless, and he answered my questions clearly without rushing me. What stood out most was how genuine he was. His “Welcome in” and warm smile didn’t feel forced it felt natural, and at that moment it meant more than I expected. During my stay, I had a couple small requests, and each time Eon handled them promptly and kindly. There was never any attitude, never a sense that I was asking too much. In a week that felt heavy, those small interactions made a difference. At one point we shared a brief lighthearted moment that actually made me laugh. Something I hadn’t done much of that week. It was such a simple thing, but it helped more than he probably realizes. The hotel itself was also very well maintained. The lobby and common areas were clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and organized. Other staff members I encountered were attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. My room was spacious, spotless, and clearly well cared for. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, which made it easy to rest when I needed to. I was also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. There were far more options than I’ve seen at comparable hotels, and everything was well stocked and presented nicely. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, and truly attentive customer service can be hard to find. Eon represents hospitality at its best. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely considerate. He made a difficult trip feel just a little bit lighter. I hope the management team recognizes what a positive impact he has on guests. He absolutely made my stay better.

  My husband and I frequently stay with Hilton and are Silver members. We travel from Texas once a month to visit his daughter. Unfortunately, we needed to cancel our reservation due to an extreme winter storm forecasted for the day of travel, which made it unsafe for us to proceed with our visit. Because we travel often, I typically book rooms with a 24-hour cancellation window, but in this case I mistakenly selected the wrong rate when booking. I contacted the hotel through the Hilton website chat and was advised to call and speak with Brandon. When I called, Brandon would not speak with me directly and instead relayed messages through the person who answered the phone, which was unhelpful and frustrating. I was not given the opportunity to explain the situation or discuss any options. It is disappointing that safety concerns during a severe weather event were given less consideration than a $131 room charge. Due to this experience, I will not be staying at this location again.

  We stay at a lot of hotels and this one is one of the best! Nice rooms, breakfast and pool. Would definitely recommend
