Just like most we stay in, comfortable to a point. This time, TV gave us issues with ROKU, Kelse got to work, Thanks lady.
Room did not have shampoo after we checked in, had to call to get some for both baths. Should be on room cleaning checklist.
Thanks again Kelse, she brought more.
A/C was off in room, room temp at check in was about 87 degrees.

Stayed here during Christmas when we visited my wife’s grandparents. Overall, pretty standard hotel. The hotel itself looks quite clean in the lobby and common areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room we checked into had a nasty smell to it, and a burn spot on the carpet in the center. Apparently the placard showed it as a smoking room, while the app which I used to do check in via the Hilton app showed all rooms as not smoking. Whether the placard reflected whether guests were actually allowed to smoke, the room smelled bad. We asked the front desk to switch rooms and they were understanding and let us switch rooms easily. Our second room was good. All pictures were taken right before checking out, as we were quite tired when we arrived, so the cleanliness was much better at the start. The kitchenette was a very nice amenity and allowed us to comfortably eat leftovers or delivery in the room. The sitting area was nice, and the door separating the bedroom from the sitting area is a nice feature if staying with additional guests. None of the windows opened, so it made any smells in the room stay for quite some time, which we disliked. The sink area is nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated in its style, with a combined shower and bath. Reminded me of home. The location is really good if you’re trying to get to Fort Sill or the Casino right across the highway, but our destination was the other side of town, so it took us a bit longer than if we had gotten something closer. That’s more on us than the hotel’s fault. Breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had at a Hilton, with oatmeal, breakfast tacos, and the standard eggs and potatoes.
Overall, the hotel had some nice aspects to it, but it wasn’t anything too special. We paid about $100 a night, which was a pretty decent price, especially for the room to include a kitchenette. It’s about as good as you’ll get in the area, so for Lawton, fairly good hotel.

We had unfortunately booked three rooms at another hotel using travel points...unbeknownst to us, the rooms were booked through Expedia (that will never happen again). When we walked in after a day of travel, the hotel had us down for only one room. We needed all three. They could not help us...felt more like "would not" help us. The service was horrible. Frustrated and standing in the lobby of that hotel, we called Homewood Suites. About 30 minutes later, Malareece at Homewood Suites, had two rooms, plus a suite for us ready to go. She was on it, very professional, and demonstrated what service is supposed to look like in the hospitality management business.

We arrived 34 minutes after check in time and our room was not ready. The room had severely worn furniture (see picture). Bathroom was stocked with two bath towels four hand towels and one wash cloth, odd stocking numbers! I felt I was not alone in this after a little reflection as I recalled two different tenants ask for additional towels at the front desk while I was checking in. In the morning we went down for breakfast at 7am. Breakfast hours are from 630 to 930. Breakfast was not ready and we joined a large group of people that were waiting as staff prepared the food. Most of the people departed by 715 as the food was still not ready. The coffee was weak and watered down. Bathroom sink drained very slowly. Entry doors to the hotel were malfunctioning. 2 hours prior to checkout my room keys would not work. Staff had to open our room for us. Not the experience I expected from a Hilton property. Very disappointed. Will try the Marriott down the street next time.

During our stay at the Homewood Suites in Lawton, Oklahoma, Teresa stood out in the most remarkable way. Out of everyone we encountered, her attentiveness to guests’ needs was truly impeccable. She has a natural ability to read a room, anticipate what someone might need, and step in before you even have to ask.
Her energy is unmatched—warm, genuine, and absolutely contagious. You can tell she takes pride in making sure every guest feels welcome and cared for. What impressed us even more was the way she supports her coworkers. She doesn’t just focus on her own tasks; she checks in on her fellow employees, offers help without hesitation, and creates an environment where everyone seems to work better because of her presence.
It’s rare to meet someone who consistently goes above and beyond, not because they have to, but because it’s simply who they are. Teresa is the kind of person who elevates an entire hotel experience, and our stay was noticeably better because of her. She truly deserves recognition for the exceptional service she provides- Kristen
