- CLCedric LeathOct 19, 20251.0I was at this hotel for an event. I left with my legs bitten up by bed mites and very hot. The room had an AC that would not get cold. The feeling of things crawling on me was ridiculous. I bought two candles from the Dollar Store across the street because the room reeked of dirty pets. I am back in Florida and cannot stop the itching on my legs. I was extremely close to saying Hilton was on par if not better than Marriott until this experience. I am Silver with Hilton but Titanium with Marriott. After this stay in Lawton, I don’t see it changing. The service was very nice and the staff was very pleasant. Just not a good experience in the room. Also, they were charging $3 for coffee during the day. Marriott provides coffee for free all day.
