- GSGail SiddonsDec 17, 20255.0This is hands down the best TLF I've stayed at stateside. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is gracious, patient and helpful. We asked for a double queen, and what we got could be considered a suite, with two separate bedrooms, kitchenette (with two burners, a dishwasher, microwave, and keurig), and common room with a pullout couch. The bathroom was spacious. It would have been nice to have a hook or two on the door or walls, but that's minor. Now, if you're looking for the VRBO special treatment with all newly painted walls and a view, this isn't for you. This is a converted barracks on a military instillation; it's not asthetically perfect, and the HVAC is a bit loud. But if you want convenient location for graduation or are PCSing and need a place to stay until a house gets opened up, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with it. It was nice not to have to plan around traffic to get on base, and we didn't have any traffic to speak of to make noise during the night. If I ever have a reason to come back to the Lawton area, I will definitely stay here again.
