The only thing that I thought was not great was the on site “store” that charged ridiculous prices for sodas etc. But I’m still impressed.
- CTCLAY TREVINONov 30, 20253.0Check in: Older gentleman at the front desk looked unhappy Friday night upon check in. Grumpy never smiled. Never. Was short in temperament. I absolutely did NOT feel welcome. I was not pointed to the elevators or asked if I needed anything. I was at least offered a bottle water at for being an Honors member so there is that. Up in the room: Room appeared clean. 5 minutes in to being in the room saw a ROACH run across the table. Wife and I freaked out! We are super clean people and never had to deal with this. At all! Sure as heck didnt come from us! We used our phone flashlight and looked EVERYWHERE under desk where it came from, on floor, behind nooks and crannies, by the frig, under things, checked the tv, everywhere and didnt see any more so we chalked it off to a one off thing but it still made us uneasy so we just piled ALL our stuff right in the middle of the the room on the ottoman thing. Not taking chances, and logically we checked the bed for bugs after that. All looked clear. Room was stocked with what we might need. The stay was quiet and nice, I didnt need breakfast but wife said it was pretty good and tasty. She did also use the pool. It could have been warmer as it was not heated but still nice. Overall not too bad. Checkin could have been better, duvet cover could have been less scratchy and horrible and pillows could have been way better but it was an ok average stay but below what I expect from Hilton property. 3 -3.5 stars. Location was best of all.
