Do NOT believe your confirmation information as they jacked the price up $25 once you arrive and THEN they tried to put me in a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Here’s a clue - I don’t want an upgraded room, I want the $128.33 room I booked without the hassle and drama! I have stayed in this hotel multiple times with great success. I booked my room last night for $128.33 as stated on my confirmation. Imagine my surprise and distress after a long day of driving that the price when I arrived had suddenly changed to $158.33 because of an “incidentals” fee!!! mentioned no where and that I have never encountered at any Holiday Inn Express. I was given the General Manager, Danielle Cloud’s card. No one answered and after three rings the call is immediately cut off. I vote with my dollars, and Holiday Inn Express will never get mine again. IHG what good is your association if you let your hotels use these predatory practices???
- ROrichey ormanNov 10, 20253.0I stay in a lot of hotels, mainly IHG, and this property seems overpriced for the condition IMO. The lobby had an odd smell, along with the rooms. The room felt damp. The beds were comfortable, shower had decent water pressure. The fitness room leaves a lot to be desired. The equipment needs some TLC, not much to choose from, and didn't seem really clean. Also while on the treadmill, the smoke detector just fell from the ceiling! The location is close to the interstate. For the price, I'm not sure I'd recommend this hotel until they step up their game.
