  About $30 Overpriced. Only the Ice Machine on the Fourth Floor worked. Coming back a week later still one one working Ice Machine 🤬

  This wouldn’t have received the rating it did but I have them more than fair chance…I stayed here the last Saturday of July in 2025 for a family reunion. I booked and paid through booking and upon checking in they ask for a card to have on file for deposit I tell them I booked through booking.com and it said you can let them know that I paid through there after handing my card for her to place on file. Next morning we go to leave and I hand my key and show that I’ve already paid, a new person from check in from the day before. Come Monday I check my account and notice that not only have I paid from booking.com for my room but holiday inn also charged me and more…I call and the woman says sorry that was me I’m still kind of training and gets me to her manager, the manager says she sees I paid through booking and then and that she will refund my charge and it can take a few days to see the reversal. Okay no problem, accidents happen. I waited a week…nothing. So I call again and same girl answers and she says, my manager didn’t fix that? Nope, so she gets me to her manager again. This time I get a, we have to wait for booking to give us a credit to refund you. No they didn’t charge me incorrectly and you did and now it’s been a week with not contact back and yes I left my number. I call back in September after calling several more times prior and leaving messages for the previous manager. September, same girl but new manager, new manager tells me there has been some things happening and the previous manager is not there and unfortunately the pay systems have change so I need to email a request in. I do that…in September (I added my email from then) nothing so I email in October asking for a call back or update, nothing and here we are End of March the following year, no refund and no contact. So here is the review where businesses actually pay attention…we will not be staying because of that. This would have been 5 stars for the comfort, cleanliness, and staff upon checking in. I stayed, and booked through booking.com, with Blackwell Holiday Inn on Saturday, July 26th. Just one night, and paid through booking.com. Upon checking out I received a secondary charge for the 1 night stay through Holiday Inn. Both charges cleared/ hard posted to my checking account on Monday, July 28th. When I saw this I called and spoke to Melissa or Misty and she said she saw that error and apologized, saying you had new staff members and would get it reversed to give it a few days. I waited a week no reversal and called back. Same manager stated yes we have to wait for booking.com to credit us and then we will return your charge. I waited another week and went to my bank and tried to dispute it, they said I needed to go through you. Here is it now September 11th and I still have both charges on my account. I don’t care which one is credited but can one please be returned. I have attached both charges from my bank app and booking.coms site receipt as well.

  Nice place. No complaints. Great view out the back of the hotel! Typical holiday inn fare.
