- AHAnna Hallett4 days ago3.0We stayed here over Christmas while visiting Family. The newly renovated rooms are so much nice than the last time we stayed here. BIG improvement. The hall ways could still use some work especially on the mail floor. The 1st night we were in a room where the bathroom exhaust fan made the most terribly annoying sound that kept us up all night. We did mention it to the front desk the next day and they admitted that that room can be an issue for some people. They did swap us to a new room. Unfortunately the new room the shower water temp was warm at best. Sounds like the mixer needs to be adjusted because the sink water was HOTTTT. We did bring this to the attention of the front desk too. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was standard for holiday inn.

First, someone turned the heat OFF, so despite me turning it on the room never got warm, it was just too cold outside (19*). Second, the bathroom door hinges had an auto-closer, so the bathroom couldn’t get warm from the room heat. Finally had to tie the door open with the cords from the bag that held the blow dryer. Stupid mistakes ruined what could have been a good experience.

The door to our room would not latch correctly and you could see into the hallway due to the door not fitting correctly. The pool was also out of order. The couch also had stains on it. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

The property is in the middle of some renovations, so maybe it will be better afterwards. The room entry floor and pretty much the whole bathroom was not as clean as we are used to at other Holiday Inn Express properties (sticky floor, surfaces looked like a quick wipe down rather than a full clean). To cap it off, the fire alarm went off very early in the morning (no fire) and they couldn't get it to turn off so we just left.
- TKTate KernOct 5, 20252.0Rooms reek of cigarettes. AC unit in room was yellow nicotene stained. Room was dirty, especially the tile floor had spots all over and sticky. Don't take off your shoes. Lipstick and makeup all over the shower. Way over priced. Shouldn't be charging over $100 ($200 when I was there). Bed was comfortable which was the only nice thing.
