- MMMatt2 days ago1.0Room smells like an ash tray. Stinks. Plenty have no checked in, but refused to give me a non smoking room. Says all rooms are non-smoking, but anyone can smell it. Poorly managed. Stay away.

We have stayed at The Holiday Inn Express in WCH-Jefferson for years and I can say that it is our favorite. Nice spacious and clean rooms. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Ideal location. Good breakfast bar. Dining area with the fireplace is exceptional. But I want to save the Best for last! The staff is what makes it our favorite. We can’t say enough good about Shandie Bennett and her staff!! Shandie is Amazing!! They are ALL so friendly, kind, helpful and always treat us with the utmost respect!! They always go above and beyond our needs…...especially with my boys who are nonverbal/autistic. Thank you Shandie for making us always feel at home and like Family!! We appreciate you!!!! Every single employee was always so nice. I made friends with the housekeepers. They gave me recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Breakfast was always good. I felt completely safe outside at night, alone. The daily cookies and all day coffee kept me going! I miss that coffee. 😅 The entire hotel was always clean, beds were comfortable & the pool area was nice.

They have a patio outside the pool area with a beautiful sunset! Let's talk about the cake topper - THE STAFF! The manager Shandie introduced herself- shook our hands & made us feel so welcome! She was so kind. The gentleman behind the front desk (I didn't get his name). He was so sweet! My daughter got this room for my granddaughters 10 birthday party - pool party - spa night theme. There was 5 little girls / 2 adults stayed the night. The hotel staff was so accommodating! The party was perfect!! We stayed March 14th /15th. It's close to a few restaurants. Walmart is a hop skip & a jump away! The room prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel!
