The staff were very nice, so no problems there. The rooms, however, were abysmal. This is not a hotel to walk barefoot in. My feet were filthy after showering and walking on the carpet, and then I noticed the nail clippings on the floor. The room smelled very musty. Additionally, the water wouldn't drain in the sink or shower, I almost threw up when I pulled up the shower stopper and there was a clump of hair preventing the water from draining. The bed was made of cardboard so after all that, I didn't sleep well either. My coworker also had a similarly bad experience in his room. I've traveled a ton for work and this is by far the worst Holiday Inn Express I've ever seen. This was the only "hotel" in the area, so next time I'll just drive an hour each way to stay in a better hotel around Dayton.
