Welcome to the Candlewood Suites. We are nestled in the heart of the Wheeling River Region. Our Hotel features extended stay suites with fully equipped kitchens including a full size refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, pots/pans/dishes etc. in addition to a spacious dining area and work space. The outdoor area features a pool and two gas grills. We offer complimentary laundry service, WIFI, parking and gym. Ask about our lending locker where guest have access to things like blenders, crockpots, DVD player with movies and much more. Our cupboard has a variety of snacks and drinks which are sure to satisfy. We are conveniently located of Hwy 70 near the Ohio Valley Mall, movie theater and many restaurants including Osaka, Coaches, Cracker Barrell Long Horn, Panera, Chipotle, Chic Filet and many more. The area offers many beautiful outdoor options like activities along the Ohio River, boating, golfing or a nice hike through Bark Camp located to the west of St. Clairsville. Looking for something local? St Clairsville is home to many delicious family-owned eateries like West Texas Roadhouse or Defelice Pizza. Our area is rich with history and can be seen in one of our many museums like the SMART CENTRE in downtown Wheeling area. Looking for some excitement? Try the Wheeling Island Casino and Racetrack. Ogelbay Park is a short drive into West Virginia which has a zoo and golf course.

- BSbecky shawApr 7, 20265.0We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and the experience was very good. We came up from NE Florida because our son was working up there from where he lives in Alabama. One day he thought he had food poisoning but ended up having an emergency appendectomy! The sales manager Steve Wilson was so helpful getting us a room here where our son was staying and kept asking us how he was doing and was there anything we needed. Desiree from the front desk was also extremely helpful and nice? Everyone made a stressful situation a little better by their help and concern! Love having free laundry and a nice gym.

We have our bedroom with a decent size closet and also a living room with a pull out couch bed... Also a kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, sink and a garbage disposal... The bathroom is the perfect size!! And there's also a closet outside the bathroom and kitchen... And theres also a TV in our room and the living room... There is also shopping all the way around us!! All kindsa things to do for the family, wife or the kiddos!! Not a bad place to stay at all!!! We will return if we're ever back in the area!! For now tho we'll be here for the next few weeks... If my opinion changes I will be back to write about it... Also the staff is very accommodating and very helpful!! Anything I need they're more than willing to lend a hand and help me with my needs and wants!!!

All the employees were nice and treated us both coming and going except the one that looks like Tina Belcher but after seeing us a hundred times she finally started greeting us.
