  We had a great overnight stay for volleyball. It is clean. The hotel in general throughout has thin walls which means you hear everything and the showers only go so warm and seem to run out of it quickly. Otherwise the staff are wonderful and let me get checked it early due to ending games early that day!

  This lace is awful the front desk staff tonight / females are rude and have attitudes. They act as if they did not want to serve me and my family. They don’t speak to their guest they look at you like you’re bothering them when they’re doing NOTHING BUT STANDING THERE TALKING IGNORING THEIR CUSTOMERS. The hotel has a putrid smell, furniture I. Lobby is worn, dusty and dingy. It’s loud 12pm and people are slamming doors. Someone is running up and firm the hallways trashy hotel and they have the audacity to be rude and nasty because of the color of a persons skin. The worst thing is the front desk associates. Take my advice don’t stay here. They don’t deserve the Hilton name. Never staying at a Tru hotel again. I gave 1”s because u could not give 0’s

  I like how I was able to check in and pick my room through the app. Steamless. Very convenient. Stayed in room 124. Room was spacious and smelled very clean! Close to the pool. Comfy beds. All moen fixtures in bathroom. Modern. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Friendly morning staff always stocking the stations. Glad Sandusky finally has a few hilton brand hotels now. Better than the budget ones around there.

  My family and I had a nice stay over the weekend at Tru by Hilton Sandusky. We reserved two rooms and received keys quickly upon our arrival even though we had already checked in online. A clerical error resulted in one of the rooms needing to be switched, but it was taken care of quickly. The rooms are bright, modern, and clean. Hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash by the brand "Not Soap, Radio" is provided in the bathroom, and was a treat to use. We were in town for a competition at the Kalahari convention center, and this was a fantastic alternative to staying at their hotel, which is a very short drive away. The daily breakfast was a highlight, offered 6-10am, with really cool pancake machines. The person taking care of the breakfast was also very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area in the future.

  Standard Tru hotel room wise. Staff friendlyness, cleanliness, and the attention to details for the continental breakfast to make this my go-to hotel when I'm in the area.
