What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in at Hotel Breakers, Express Hotel, Castaway Bay & Lighthouse Point Cottages and Cabins is at 4:00 PM and Check out is 11:00 AM. Check In for Lighthouse Point Campsites is at 1:00 PM and Check-out is at Noon.
Can I receive my Cedar Point tickets before check-in so that I can enjoy the park before I check-in?
Yes! Simply visit the front desk as early as 8am to receive your Cedar Point tickets. If your room is ready upon arrival, you may be able to check-in but if not, we can send you a text message when your room becomes available.
Are there any discounts available?
We offer AAA, Military, and Season Pass discounts on select days, unit types, and properties. Use discount codes: “AAA”, “Military”, or “Pass” respectively to check availability. Proof of qualification must be displayed at check-in to receive the discount. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.
What is Early Entry?
Early Entry is a one-hour before park opening period in which qualifying guests can enjoy select rides and attractions. Early Entry is exclusive to guests of the Cedar Point Resorts and certain season passholders. All resort tickets include Early Entry and for overnight guests who purchased their tickets elsewhere, an Early Entry voucher can be obtained at the front desk for access.
What is the deposit and cancelation policy?
At the time of reservation the first night’s stay plus tax and packages is due in full as a deposit. A reservation can be cancelled any time prior to 72 hours of arrival date with a $50 fee. If a reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival the first night’s stay plus tax will be NON-REFUNDABLE. In most cases, a reservation’s arrival date can be changed within the same calendar year without penalty.
Can I make a special request on my reservation? What kinds of things can I request?
Special requests such as: a specific unit, floor, being close to one-another or specific accommodations can be made over the phone or in the “reservations comments” field when making an online reservation. Requests are NOT GUARANTEED, however, we try our best to accommodate all requests.
Can I purchase admission tickets and other add-on items at the front desk?
Yes, Cedar Point admission tickets and other add-on items may be purchased at the front desk. However, pricing is more expensive at the desk than purchasing in advance as part of a package. We recommend that you add all admission and add-ons to your reservation in advance of your arrival.
Is the beach, hotel restaurants or pools available to park guests or passholders?
The Cedar Point Beach and Hotel restaurants are available to resort and park guests. However, indoor and outdoor pools are for the use of the guests of THAT HOTEL / CAMPGROUND ONLY. This policy will be monitored and enforced.
Can I request a rollaway bed?
No, Cedar Point Resorts no longer offers rollaway beds. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please plan accordingly.
How far is Hotel Breakers from Cedar Point & Cedar Point Shores?
Hotel Breakers & Lighthouse Point are just a short walk from Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores. A shuttle service is also available for the convenience of all guests. The shuttle service only includes locations on the Cedar Point Peninsula and DOES NOT include stops at Cedar Point’s Express Hotel or Castaway Bay.
How many pools are there at the Cedar Point Resorts?
Hotel Breakers has an indoor pool and hot tub, two outdoor pools, two outdoor hot tubs, and an outdoor kid’s pool. Lighthouse Point & Cedar Point’s Express Hotel each feature an outdoor pool & sprayground. Castaway Bay features an outdoor pool in addition to an indoor waterpark.
Is parking included in my reservation?
Guests of Hotel Breakers & Lighthouse Point receive Cedar Point Parking for the length of their stay. Simply provide your confirmation number or scan the bar code on your pre-arrival email at the toll booth to be granted entry. At check-in you will receive a parking voucher that is valid for re-entry until the day of check-out. After check-out guests must re-locate their vehicle to general parking. Guests of Cedar Point’s Express Hotel & Castaway Bay may purchase Cedar Point admission packages that include parking or purchase parking separately at the front desk upon arrival.
Is breakfast included?
No, however there are multiple options for breakfast. Perkins, Starbucks, and a quick serve café are located inside Hotel Breakers. Express Hotel and Castaway Bay also features locations with coffee and breakfast items.
What views are available from Hotel Breakers?
The hotel offers two view options when making a reservation, Lakeview and Non-Lakeview. Lakeview rooms & suites offer a beautiful view of Lake Erie and Cedar Point Beach. Non-Lakeview suites can have a variety of different views ranging from park view, parking view or in rare cases, obstructed views. Non-Lakeview room views are not guaranteed however certain views can be requested in your reservation.
Is there luggage assistance and storage available?
Yes, there is free luggage assistance available at Hotel Breakers. This service includes car side pickup and drop off as well as delivery to and from your room. This service includes the storage of luggage while you wait for your available check-in time or while you enjoy the park after your check-out time. While this service is free, we recommend that you tip your bell captain.
Is there shuttle service available?
Yes! A shuttle service is available for the convenience of all guests. The shuttle service only includes stop locations on the Cedar Point Peninsula and DOES NOT include stops at Cedar Point’s Express Hotel or Castaway Bay.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed for campsite guests however pets are NOT allowed inside any of the cabins or cottages or Cedar Point hotels. Special accommodations can be made for registered service animals. Pets should not be left unattended, nearby Pet Chek is available for a nominal fee for daily boarding.
Is Cedar Point Shores included in my resort ticket package?
Cedar Point Shores waterpark requires separate admission. Admission is not included in resort ticket packages and entry is not guaranteed with your overnight stay. A link to purchase admission and reserve entry to Cedar Point Shores waterpark will be included in your confirmation email sent to you after your overnight stay reservation has been made.
