The bathroom was downright disgusting — it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, and there were visible grime and odors that made it very uncomfortable to use. The sheets on the bed had stains, which is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price point. The entire property feels old, outdated, and not well-maintained. Common areas and the room itself were not clean, and the overall atmosphere made the stay unpleasant from start to finish. I expected a much better standard of cleanliness and comfort. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

Some are really nice, some have little problems.. but I have never been more unhappy in a hotel than the Hampton Sandusky. I will be traveling back to Sandusky quite a bit and will never stay here again. The hotel smelled when I got here, it looks like an old hotel bought out. TV doesn't work, hole in the bathroom wall, desk chair is broken, breakfast was worst I've had. Out of 70+ nights of travel this year, I've never disliked a hotel more. True disappointment.
