Located just a short drive from Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores, the newly renovated Castaway Bay is an indoor waterpark oasis that features a 38,000 sq. ft. tropically themed water paradise along with a variety of rooms and suite combinations that each feature a mini-fridge and microwave. What are check in and check out times?
Check-in time is 4PM. Guests are permitted to enter the waterpark on their day of check-in before their rooms are available. Guests should check-in at the front desk to pick up their wristbands. Day use lockers may be used to store clothing while guests enjoy the waterpark before their rooms are available. Day use lockers are located inside the main entry of the waterpark.

What is required to purchase alcohol?
In order to purchase alcoholic beverages, guests must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or state identification card. Military identification cards and passports are not valid forms of identification.

Complimentary high-speed wireless internet is available in all guest rooms as well as public areas.
Are laundry facilities available?
A guest laundry is available on the third floor near Club Castaway. The room contains three washers, six dryers that accept credit card only.

All rooms at Castaway Bay are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside the complex.

A Safe Deposit Box is highly recommended for storing valuables. Safe Deposit Boxes are available at the front desk.

All children entering Castaway Bay must be accompanied by a supervising companion. A supervising companion is someone who meets all the requirements to ride the rides themselves, is 14 years of age or older and demonstrates appropriate observed behavior.
Are baby bottles permitted in the waterpark?
Baby bottles are permitted in the waterpark if they are made of plastic material. No glass containers are permitted.
Are flotation devices permitted in the waterpark?
No. Flotation devices (balls, water wings, etc.) are not permitted in the waterpark. Life vests/life jackets are available for waterpark use.
Can we bring our own food and beverages into the waterpark?
Outside food and beverages, including picnic baskets and coolers, are not permitted in the waterpark. Food and beverages purchased within Castaway Bay Resort property may be carried into the waterpark, however, glass bottles and containers are not permitted. Special needs items may be brought into the park in small coolers (no glass items).
Does the waterpark have lockers available?
Yes, day use lockers can be rented inside the waterpark. Guests must have a valid wristband to enter the waterpark and use the lockers. Deposit and fees required. If a guest has lost a locker key, they should go to the Redemption Center at Gamer's Grotto Arcade.

Yes - Castaway Bay has male and female changing rooms as well as private family changing rooms available. All changing rooms include showers. Guests must have a valid wristband to enter the waterpark and use the changing rooms.
