  Location great, Amenities great, Breakfast really good, staff great, but there is also the occasional door slam, pool room has very hot air, but has very cold water and the walls + floor of the pool attacked us if the water seems cold you’ll get used to it. We came in with 0 bandaids had a total of 7 throughout the entire stay. Highly recommend hotel.

  Stayed Valentine’s Day Eve in this nifty hotel. The location is great off SR 161. It’s a newer hotel, and still has that feel and smell. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. It was also well insulated as you could not hear activity in other rooms (which was fantastic given the date we stayed…😉). The bathroom was also immaculately clean. My only issue was that the restrooms on the first floor are single stall. I had just got off the road when we checked in and needed to use it really urgently. I checked in and went to use it and it was taken by one of the contractors. So I decided to just go to my room and use the restroom there. I went to park and grab my bags. When I went to open the side door to the hotel, my room key didn’t work. We had to walk all the way around to the main entrance to get in. I saw the woman who checked me in and explained that my key didn’t work on the entrance, so I wanted to confirm that it would work for my room. To which she explained that the door was broken and they were waiting on a part. This would have been FANTASTIC information to learn AT CHECK IN! I was able to make it to the room without having an accident, but just barely!

  We stayed at this hotel for over a month for work, and two staff members truly made our experience unforgettable — Margie and Dean. Margie was always the first smiling face we saw. She made us feel less like guests and more like family. Every morning during breakfast she would come over just to speak to us and check in, which meant so much during a long stay away from home. Whenever we had packages delivered, she immediately called our room to let us know — such a small detail, but it showed how attentive and thoughtful she is. She even went above and beyond by getting our kids Valentine’s Day gifts. That kind of kindness is rare. Margie genuinely became like family to us, and we will never forget her warmth and care. Dean worked in the breakfast room every morning and was just as incredible. Always smiling, always helpful — if we needed anything, he handled it immediately. He stayed constantly busy keeping the food line stocked, clearing trash, and making sure everything ran smoothly. One morning I was downstairs an hour before his shift even started, and he was already there working with a great attitude and a smile on his face. That kind of work ethic speaks volumes. Over the course of our extended stay, Margie and Dean consistently stood out. They didn’t just do their jobs — they went above and beyond every single day. Employees like them are the reason guests return. We are so grateful for both of them. 💛

  My husband is currently working in New Albany so we spent an overnight trip at this hotel. It was beautiful clean and service was amazing. Such a friendly front desk clerk. room was great for our family. most of all the bed was the most comfortable bed that I’ve ever laid on. Does anyone know what type of bed this was? I forgot to look before I left.

  The property was so clean. I told my husband we have to come back. It has exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was amazing too.
