(MUST READ) !!!!! We decided to stay here (Pre booked) passing through the area. Upon arrival, nothing peculiar stood out, appeared to be a normal branded hotel operated by IGH (Parent Company). However shortly into our stay things took a quick turn south. Initially small things stood out, the heater violently shaking to the point the lamp is rocking, neighboring door looks like the locks were busted and a ghetto shed latch is the only thing securing the door shut, our door has a prybar styled indent between the door and door jam. The entire interior appeared straight front the “Backrooms”. Dull lighting some lights randomly flicker, some only once, some from time to time, (not motion sensor flickers) like these lights are intended to stay on for guests safety maneuvering the halls. If that wasn’t weird enough we tried to use the elevator, one was out of order, doors remained shut at all times, we used elevator 2. Upon getting in the elevator shifted uncomfortably much bouncing off the elevator shaft. The doors rattled closed only to open moments later with nobody calling the elevator. On a second attempt to use the elevator we decided to go out to eat food, we called the elevator nothing happened. We called it again nothing happened. Then and I mean out of thin air as were the only ones there, was this male staff member, never saying a word, walks over to a button by the Out of Order elevator, presses it and the elevator doors open. Before we could say anything he was already walking into a staff only door. Odd… but we shrugged it off. Later we decide to check the pool, we call the elevator using the same mystery button this no name no word staff member pressed. We jump in, the doors close, pause, and moments later open without the elevator descending, we tried again, same thing. It’s as if someone is calling the elevator but the halls are empty, not a soul, not a voice, not a sound. Moments later the elevator shifted in a concerning manner so we quickly took the stairs, getting to the basement we have the same “Backroom” feel. Quiet. Empty. We find the pool (closed) upon walking by a room with a strange name caught our eye, while trying to figure out what purpose the room had the Out of Order elevator that was never open prior sudden opens to reveal an elevator that was majorly not aligned with the platform, it sat 2-3 feet lower. (Please note we were the only ones in the hallways at the time). Upon walking back to the stairs elevator 3 opens randomly, again we did not call the elevator and when it opened nobody was inside. These elevators were not actively being worked on, no active tests were being performed, elevators down cycle floors they stay dormant at the floor they were last at until they get called to the same floor/another floor. Why are these elevators opening only when we are right in front of them. They never opened when we were wandering the halls, it’s so silent the screeching of the doors could be heard down the corridors. They only opened when we were near them. (No motion sensors, the building is outdated). We later encounter the elevators again…this time it made numerous nerve racking actions that forced us to take the stairs. Once again the elevator followed us to the same floor we went to with nobody on board…. I’m not a particular believer of paranormal activity, but coming from someone with over 7 years of general and commercial construction experience, I do not have a logical explanation to the countless coincidences that took place. As for the establishment, I’m not sure why this building hasn’t been shut down and demolished… Outside of the elevator, the overall conditions are jaw droppingly disgusting especially representing IGH. Doors with missing locks, markings that appeared as if attempted break ins took place prior, the balcony door closed but does not lock since the door does not shut properly, wall mounted ac/heating units that sound like they are about to contact air traffic control, the advertised restaurant was not available since their kitchen is inoperative. Pools closed.

This place doesn’t even deserve a one star!!!!! Rooms have bed bugs, ants and MULTIPLE huge stains on the sheets! After changing rooms the issues weren’t any better! Front desk was not helpful and said deal with ants or bed bugs! The this place needs to be shut down and I wouldn’t let my dog sleep there

My daughter stayed at this place. She went to the desk and told them about bedbugs in the first room she was in. The 2nd room had ants. She complained, and they told her either deal with bedbugs or ants. The sheets were horribly stained. That lock is on a door, across the hallway from her room. Very unprofessional!

Great room, great bar and restaurant! Shuttle service was fair. We were crammed in like sardines on the way to the airport and it took 40 minutes for someone to pick us up from the airport when we got back. The front desk worker was RUDE when we checked in on Tuesday evening, 4-7-26. He berated the guests in line in front of us for using Expedia to book the room, then did the same to us. He made it very clear that we inconvenienced him by not booking directly with the hotel. He spoke poorly of Dan the bellman, who I found to be quite charming and helpful. Then, when we tried to enter our room, the keys didn’t work. Back to the desk I went, only to find the front desk man berating yet another guest for not booking directly with the hotel! But that’s not all…he proceeded to tell anyone who would listen that he had ordered a burger from the restaurant downstairs an hour ago, and due to the multiple check-ins, he probably wasn’t going to have time for his lunch break?! I’m sorry, but that’s not my problem. I am a registered nurse who has missed more “lunch breaks” than I can count. When it was my turn at the desk and I explained that our keys didn’t work, he said “Well that’s a handicap room anyway. Do you need a room with wheelchair accessibility?” I told him that no, I did not book a room with those needs, and he responded “Well that’s what happens when you don’t book directly with the hotel.” As if that was my fault?! When we went downstairs to eat, multiple tables were complaining about how rude the front desk man was. I wish I could remember his name. I hope someone from the management team sees this review and speaks to him, because his customer service skills were awful. The whole point of his role is to make arriving guests feel welcome and he did the exact opposite of that.

We needed to be in town for a family visit and opted for this hotel. I only stayed here because I got a good deal through my airline to get more airline points if I stayed here. Checking in was decent, the lady working the front desk was very happy to help, she also did a nice job taking care of us by giving us new towels when housekeeping didn’t refresh out room the next morning after our first night. The property itself it horribly rundown and in desperate need of being refurbished: • It has 3 elevators and one of them worked • The bathroom curtain was stained and the drywall around the tub was patched over more than once, not sanded and re-painted and just left to look disgusting • The HVAC in the room worked, but had a loud squeaky motor and it had to be controlled from the unit itself, even though there’s a thermostat on the wall – made no sense. • The carpets throughout were stained and showed hi-traffic and not being cleaned • The lobby’s cloth chairs were all stained and looked nasty • There was an exterior door to the lower level which was broken and left ajar • Gutters have come disconnected and are falling off the building • The bed sounded hollow when getting into it and sinking in it I could go on-and-on – Bottom line, I’d never stay here again!
