  This location evidently was a Doubletree that was purchased by best Western. We arrived in the evening when it was dark and we were surprised how little lighting there is on the outside of the hotel, especially by the front entrance. At first, we thought it was closed and we had the wrong building. But no, it was open just poorly lit. With only seeing two cars in the parking lot and being so dark around the building, we hesitated parking and going in, we really contemplated just going to another hotel because we weren’t sure how safe we felt. The outside is dated and run down and only one or two cars in the parking lot so obviously not a high moving place. On the inside it’s actually fairly decent. Large spacious hotel, pretty clean and looks like a nicer hotel as you enter into it. The room was fine, clean looked like a decent room. It was late. We went to turn in to go to bed and found a bed bug on the pillow. We brought it to the attention of the staff, and they indicated that they weren’t sure what a bed bug looks like, but thought it might be, - I thought this was obviously a lie because if you work at a hotel, a bedbug is your number one nemesis. But either way, they did switch us to another room And we thoroughly checked everything in that room top to the bottom before going to sleep. Not sure if it was just a random bed bug in the laundry or if it was in that room, but we did not want to investigate too far to see how many more there might be in the first room. In the new room they put us in the bathroom door had no latch so it did not close so we had to prop it closed with a towel. The door to the heater did not latch and kept swinging open. Had to close it with a chair. The sofa sleeper in both of the rooms Has no support for the cushions so they fall into the sofa sleeper, and you cannot sit in them without tipping forward. Other than that room is just fine. The breakfast was your average hotel breakfast, pricewise, not terrible, but given the above mentioned items, I do not believe I will go back. I can’t say whether I would or would not recommend this location to anyone else. I understand bedbugs are something Hotels battle with even the high-end expensive hotels can get bedbugs. But the overall condition of the room, lack of lighting outside I think I would recommend another hotel.

  This place has great amenities for the price. Does get crowded on Holiday Weekends.
