  My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Mayfield Heights Staybridge Suites hotel due to a scheduled medical procedure in the area. Tucked away from the main drag, it was quiet and convenient to shopping, restaurants and medical facilities. The room, feeling more like a little apartment, had a very comfy bed and kitchnette with full size refrigerator and freezer and was just what we needed. Staff was friendly and accommodating—the breakfast and happy hour food options wonderful, such a great value! While our room could have benefitted from some minor maintenance such as touch up painting and grout (updated furniture with a larger couch is a suggestion) but it wouldn’t prevent us from staying here again when we come to the Cleveland area.. As a side note, we are so appreciative that there as a wheelchair to use!

  This was an incredibly disappointing and frankly unacceptable stay. The entire property is in a state of complete disrepair, with visible damage and a severe lack of maintenance. The most serious issue was the cleanliness. Our room was not up to proper standards by any means. It was clear it had not been thoroughly cleaned, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. The general condition of the common areas was also dirty and poorly kept. To add to this, the breakfast options were severely lacking. What was offered was minimal and low-quality, not at all what was advertised. This experience was a complete failure in hospitality, basic cleanliness, and maintenance. The dishwasher had standing water which smelled awful like it had been sitting there for several months. We left feeling disgusted and ripped off. I am requesting an immediate and full refund for this disastrous stay before I submit a chargeback with my bank. Unfortunately when I went to discuss this with the front desk, there was nobody available for comment. These are just some of the many pictures I have as evidence.

  I was very disappointed because I have stayed at several Staybridge locations all they were all wonderful except this location. The entry door to the room looked like someone kicked the door in. We reserved a two bedroom. It was significantly smaller than many other two bedrooms stayed at before. Furniture was visibly dirty. And they regulated the room temperature. When we first arrived the room was ice cold. We tried to turn the thermostat up and it would go past 74. We called down to the front desk and they said that it doesn't go any higher and the temperature was preset. Room was cold the entire stay. Breakfast was wonderful and the Staff was nice and accommodating when possible.

  Well below par. Not sure if I was just put in this room because it was a Priceline deal orrr ...if the lot is this bad. Noise level was very bad. The help spoke and laughed outside the door before 8am and other guests could be heard well outside the door well past midnight. There was a gap at the bottom and top of the door that let streams of bright light in through both gaps from the outside. I put a towel at the bottom and it just accentuated the top more. I'm sure the lack of door seal didn't help the noise situation. The bed was sunk in on one side to the point where I rolled into the sunken area by shear gravity. There was just a hint of urine odor in the area of the bed additionally. Not enough to call fresh but enough to where it was a question mark in my mind while I was trying to sleep. The water pressure was inadequate. Can't recommend this place to anyone that isn't an enemy of mine. Even with Priceline it was $120/night sooo...I've stayed in better party motels at the beach in my twenties ...and for less than half the price.
