  I just checked in and am ready to check out. Place is hard to find...no name on building. Door is extremely hard to open....took an employee 3 tries to open it. TV is impossible to figure out..for both the front desk clerk and myself! I reserved a room with a king size bed....got two doubles. Was told when I checked in that they demand 100.00 security deposit when I checked in....nobody bothered to mention that when I made a reservation. The beds are uncomfortably soft. I don't feel safe or good about staying here but am too tired to find another. Everything about this place is disappointing. Front desk is not helpful. They have not made anything right with me. I will never stay at any Best Western property again.

  Al, who was at the front desk when we checked in was amazing! His customer service skills are second to none and he deserves a raise. We booked on Priceline and did not know about the $80 deposit. Al went into action and lowered our deposit to $40! The continental breakfast was great! It includes a waffle maker, where you make your own waffle, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, apple juice, or orange juice, and of course, cereal. They also have yogurt. I highly recommend this hotel! It was perfect for what we needed, which was just a place to sleep and rest before the trip back home.

  Breakfast was terrible based on other Best Western locations. Rooms are in much need of maintenance. Loose sink fixtures, etc.

  My recent stay at the Best Western in Maumee was highly disappointing and far below the standards expected of this hotel brand. The property itself is in noticeable disrepair. There were visible cracks in the molding and flooring, and we observed bugs near the windows—issues that raise significant concerns about cleanliness and proper maintenance. While the bed was neatly made upon arrival, we noticed a visible stain on the bed skirt, which further contributed to an overall sense of poor housekeeping standards. Despite requesting that our room be fully cleaned on our second day, no housekeeping services were provided. When we inquired about this, we were told that only two housekeepers were on staff and that a high volume of check-outs on the previous day had caused delays. Even with that explanation, the fact that our room remained untouched by the second day demonstrates inadequate staffing management and poor prioritization of guest needs. Additionally, basic amenities such as shampoo and conditioner were not stocked in the room. When we requested them, staff informed us that these items would not be delivered and that we needed to pick them up from the front desk. This lack of guest service is unacceptable, especially for essentials that should be readily available. In summary, the combination of insufficient housekeeping, outdated and poorly maintained facilities, and substandard guest service resulted in a very unsatisfactory stay. I cannot recommend this location and strongly encourage management to address these issues immediately.

  Okay the lady at the front counter had a hard time trying to speak to me where I can understand her. So I pay for my room and she is standing there looking clues at me. I'm like can I have my keys and she says you have to pay $100 dollars to cover some smoking policy that they just hit you with our of the blue. But you get your money back when you check out. The microwave doesn't work at all. The refrigerator does not get properly cold at all. The lamp shades look gross 🤢. The bedding looks out dated and needs replaced. The restroom floor is freezing cold and the shower doors don't work properly. The place looks recently painted and they added new dressers. It looks like they rushed the remodel on the restroom.There are no rugs on the restroom door so fresh out of the shower you freeze and almost slip down until you make it to the bedroom rug. The hot breakfast is not what I expected. I have pictures and the lady just walk back and forth and watch you like a creep!!! The outside of the building is nice and the hotel is nice overall but they need to get some things together.
