That should have been my sign to check out and leave. Bfast caused me to have massive diarrhea and ended up vomiting was it their food? Not sure. i figured I should clean it up so that staff didn't get sick. I let the lobby host know what had happened and I needed more towels. His immediate response was because you damaged our property( washcloth) you will be charged. I brought said washcloth to show him. Mind you I went to the ER bc I was so sick. He says oh ya. No big deal. But then continues to argue with me about charging for a wash cloth. I just want to say he was very unpleasant, went out of his way to be a jerk and then when I confronted him, it wasn't a big deal. In summary. Freezing to death in your car is a better option than staying here. Picture of wash cloth, and then a discovery of what's hiding in their bathroom. Won't clean the shower but will charge me for cleaning my own room. Ok

My only complaint is that the glass door opens itself after you close it, so unless you physically hold the door shut, water gets all over the floor. And whoever they hired as a tile installer, did a pretty bad job, there were several holes that I found, allowing water to seep in and behind the tiles...
- PLPreston LumanNov 2, 20251.0I have stayed in a LOT of HIE properties over the years. I can say with absolute certainty that this is by far the worst ever. To say it is tired would be a compliment. It is downright ratty. The breakfast area shares with the check in area. I've never seen that. Walls are patched throughout. Things are taped to walls everywhere. My shower door was rusty and the floor of the shower had large black spots. There were muddy boot tracks down the first floor hallway every day. I stayed here three days. This is not a family place. Worst of all is the location. It is hard to see behind a very very large truck stop. The front door faces a one story motel with red lights out front. (!) You think truckers rent these rooms by the hour? It also sits directly behind a freestanding pot dispensary. At night I observed two armed security out front. SHAME on the franchisor & the franchisee!!!
