  Firstly, I was greeted by a wonderful lady working at the check-in desk. She was very welcoming and the process was seamless. (It was refreshing after coming from a bad experience with a similar hotel in the area). The room is pleasant and clean. Will be returning.

  The outside appearance is deceiving, looks updated and clean. Once inside it starts to show it's age and how poorly it is being kept up. For starters, once you step off the elevator on the second floor, you notice a carpet that was not vacuumed in a while. The carpet was also sticking up off the floor in the middle of the hallway, almost the entire length of the hallway. It looked as though someone spilled soft serve in 2 of the elevators on Saturday night and on Sunday morning you could see the footprints where it was tracked on the to carpet. In my room I went to close the curtains to avoid seeing the brickwork 2 feet outside the widow and the curtains were ripped and broken. In the bathroom there is water damage on the ceiling, enough that the paint was chipping and the wallpaper was peeling, revealing mildew underneath. When I took a shower, there was great pressure, however the shower curtain was ripped and didn't do a great job of keeping much water in the shower. When we were at the pool, there were no towels left, when we requested towels they brought down bath mats instead.

  Great location but can be hard to find parking during evening due to lounge operating and banquet room inside hotel. Carpet on 1st laid poorly in hall with visible tripping hazard from raised surface. Room had trash left on desk and dead fly in window. Otherwise appeared clean. Bed was comfortable, pillows too soft and small. Handheld shower difficult to adjust, and centered on wall oddly, causing wet floor. Main complaint hotel wanted to enforce policy that was not listed on reservation on IHG. Demanded $150 deposit for incidental. Was supposed to get back up to 7 days after checkout when use debit and it’s day 10, still haven’t received. Front desk lady very dismissive, insisting on check in before 1am to avoid room released. Although not listed on IHG plus I requested late arrival after 3am due to storm in my area and I had 2 nights reserved and pre-paid. Took an hour to get in my room after filing a complaint. Would not stay here again. Too many other options in the area.

  Came to the bar for an event and service was awful. Food took forever as well as drinks. Not enough staff.

  We were not very happy with our experience for a few reasons. After getting to our room we hung out and wanted to order food from downstairs while we got ready. We tried to use the phone to call the front desk for information but our hotel phone didn’t work and the electrical was behind a wall so we couldn’t look at it ourselves. I called from my cell phone and the woman that answered didn’t care about the phone not working and didn’t offer to have someone replace it or fix it. We asked about ordering food and she said we can order online and they will bring it up. We asked for extra blankets bc there were none. She had an attitude and was in a rush to get off the phone. We tried looking on the website to order food but couldn’t find where to order. We called the desk again and the same woman answered and said we have to use door dash or come downstairs to order. She didn’t mention this the first time and still had an attitude. Just very non informative and acted annoyed. We booked a suite which appeared nice initially until we found used nicotine gum in a wrapper behind a chair. The room was also very empty. One small garbage can for the entire room. The decorative pillows were stuffed in a closet already so the room appeared unfinished from cleaning and setting up. The lighting was a bit off. I will say the bed and sheets were clean and very comfortable. There were enough tables and seats which was nice bc we were playing cards. But for $277 a night, it’s a no go for coming back.
