    Nice hotel right off the highway. Good hot coffee available all day in the lobby. Breakfast buffet was good, with veggies omelets and sausages, and the woman working the breakfast was helpful and cheerful, which added to the experience. Room was clean, comfortable.

    I called ahead and explained I was recovering from a major surgery- I needed a handicap accessible room, and to be close to an ice machine. Asked if this was possible before booking room. I was assured that yes it was. Arrived at 10:30 pm- was in a room on the 3rd floor. Ice machine broken, closest ice machine was on the first floor. Bathtub in the room- which means I won’t be able to shower. Staff not helpful. Brought me a small ice bucket of ice. I had to DoorDash ice and will likely have to again in the middle of the night because I have an ice machine that I have to wear while sleeping. Will drive tomorrow with little to no sleep. This all could have been avoided if the staff person I talked today had just said, “We are fully booked and can’t accommodate that request. I paid $211 for a room that is comparable to the Motel 8 next door. Save the money and book at Motel 8.

    Overall it was a nice stay, I definitely think that they could do a better at cleaning the rooms. The AC worked great, beds & pillows were comfy! They had a nice spread of breakfast and everyone was super nice that we encountered. But what really made me want to leave a review was when me and my husband went to go get ice in our cups for the ride to our next stop the room was filled with fruit flies and the bottom of the ice machine had them in there and what looked like mold/mildew or build up. We ended up not filling our cups up and I took a picture of the one that was out of order on our floor the one on the 1st floor looked just like ours did but with dead bugs floating in there. They definitely need to have someone come in and clean the ice machines or get new ones!
